saying you are trying to avoid scams on Nairaland and even going further to give intrinsic details that you are coming from the USA makes you a potential target..

5 million naira will not get you any landcruiser (well except 2003 and below) and that's not what you want to drive around Lekki.. That's a high end vehicle.

A lexus RX350 is great or a Toyota highlander.. They are not easy target for theives.. Lekki has some high level of resistance to car jacking and if you park in pubs, your car is safe as long as it is locked.
