I do not think it is a good decision to withdraw police protection from Very Important Persons (VIP) due to abuse of the process by bad actors. There are good reasons for one to be called a Very Important Person.

If an investor hires over 1000 Nigerians and notices that its movement is tracked by unscrupulous elements in areas certain areas of their enterprise, they should be protected by my Government especially since we are denied the Right to Arm ourselves with automatic riffles as a people.

I do not like this ban. Instead of banning, simply audit your process and make sure that police protection is provided only to captains of industries and no police protection should be provided to Celebrities and those without known source of income,

Armed Body guards? Are body guards approved to carry arms? Kidnappers carry arms and having been kidnapped in the past, I know how horrifying it is.

How much is the high cost? The present deployment comes at high cost. Depends on how high you want it to really be for a basic and foundamental human right, which is the right to protect oneself and family.

I propose that we are allowed to bear arms, and I mean automatic riffles if Abuja is not ready for State and LG Police Force.

Bro Nigerians will abuse state policing and right to bear arms. The reason I said high cost is that so the police can use whatever fund raised through that process to improve their operational efficiency and It will also mean, it is not anybody that will be to afford it

Private security companies exist, but are not assigned with arms to VIPs, They expect you to call their office when in trouble and they will deploy arm guards to come.

We all know what that means.

Nigeria is really a useless country. The worst occupation someone could have is be un the the police and being an escort. If there's a kidnapping or assassination attempts, you have to pay for your VIP's life with your own. If you follow them to parties or clubs, you'll be used as an errand boy. Possibly, they can even ask you to wash their undies and dispose baby diapers full of shits.
