The thing that now really got me pissed was price difference between Samsung and Tecno is almost same ....

Anyway, you get what u not only pay for but what you know about ....

They are mediocrity experts, hence the reason smart peeps pitch their tents elsewhere

Mine now, came with android 13 and dem no born samsung well make i no get atleast, 2 updates: android 14 and 15 .... now, that's good value for money ....

Tecno pova, when i priced it, 4gb, 64gb is around 90 something .. while samsung of same specs na 99k ...

Anyway, you get what u not only pay for but what you know about ....

Thing you should ask yourself is do an average user care about all these you mentioned?...
An average user just wants a good phone that suits their needs.
How many average user care or even know about all these Android 11,12 etc...
An average user is only worried about battery, camera and anything else that serve their basic needs.
All you heavy phone users go just come dey blow grammar.
And btw, tecno gives update, but not for all models, just a selected few. And I'm sure it's cause they figured most people don't take advantage of it, and these companies pay heavy for these updates to be available to users.

Please can someone recommend a good phone that's around 100k. I need to get one urgently for work.

Like I said before, my wife's Tecno has started its wahala .... it tries to boot and restarts endlessly ... it's been like that for 3 days ... from my findings, it will be flashed and we would likely lose data ....

Meanwhile, I used a Samsung J7 (some had used it for like 1 year plus and dashed me) ... I have used it for 4 years no issues ... the only problem with it is the inbuilt storage was tiny: 16gb ... but guess what? I've passed it to my kid for playing games and YouTube and its still running fine ....
