Summary of the epilogue, Peter Obi will be president and I hate him.

Here is the summary;

"One Professor Chris Nwokobia who was a member of the Labour Party/Obi-Datti Presidential Campaign Council lamented to Arise TV on June 29 that “Tinubu is copying Peter Obi’s planned policies, programmes.” Although it’s delusional to say Tinubu has stolen from Obi’s programs (because Obi didn’t even have a manifesto until the last few weeks of the election) Nwokobia is right that Tinubu is ruling as Obi would have ruled.

Obi is an ideologue of the Washington Consensus, a mole of the IMF and the World Bank in Nigeria. He is pro-market and anti-people. As a governor, he “saved” money and starved people. He fired workers for demanding a living minimum wage, caused needless deaths in hospitals when he ignored a one-year-plus doctors’ strike, and so on."

The usual load of rubbish from those who do not want to face the issues.
Is it the IMF that prevented our 4 refineries from working properly?
Is it the IMF that facilitates large scale staling of crude oil from Nigeria?
Is it the IMF that allocates over 70% of the federal budget to running the National Assembly?

Please let's stop with all this nonsense of blaming the IMF or 'The West' for our problems. WE are the cause of our problems, nobody else.

Racoon:
Fuel subsidy must go but it must not be @ the whims and caprices of these Western imperialists or neo- colonists who always wants to give us a poisonous chalice claiming to do us go.

"The bastardization of the naira and the complete destruction of Nigeria's refining capacity is what led to Abacha and his stooge buhari to come up with fuel subsidy which was in fact a way of subsidising their failure and incompetence...."

After all, the monies stolen by the kleptomanic Nigerian elites are often stashed in foreign accounts from where they also corruptly enrich themselves from. The infamous monstrous SAP economic policy of the 1990s is staring us again in the face. The govt is now forced to apply austerity measures and of course the downtrodden masses will kick against it. God forbid!

Our politicians are naturally dumb and don't like how the writer focused more on Obi than other candidates.

USA still subsidies fuel because it will be expensive for the masses but what did they do made sure all the refineries are working and it's privatized meaning the state pay for the subsidize petrol at higher cost and determine the prices for the masses at lower cost.

But why is Nigeria not doing same to our 3 moribund refineries because of their greed and selfish desires.

The only time this country will change is when EFCC or ICPC become truly independent and the dead judiciary stands up to their responsibility, then things will work.

There is no institution as dirty as the CIA but they are not biased like ours sane as their judiciary

I knew Nigeria is being governed by IMF and the world bank,

Sadly, Obi wouldn't have made much difference, except that he wouldn't have rushed the policies that Tinubu did for eye service of the election suit.

Infact, in the aspect of stamping western ideologies, I fear Obi more,... But I hated Tinubu for his level of corruption and satanism.

These were almost the campaign promises of Peter Obi too.

Nigeria cannot develope as one country, the multi dimensionalism, and ethnic bias and blames is capable of killing any economic development.

The country needs to be divided, or better still, it should be made possible for every state to develope at its own pace.

I've since stopped taking this Yoruba Muslim he goat seriously. Rather than direct his rage to Tinubu who removed the subsidy, he would somehow blame Peter Obi for everything awful about this discredited government and only give Tinubu some subtle light taps. This is disgusting and unacceptable.

Stupid man.

Tinubu should do his worst. Let him look for anything to oppress Nigerians with, but one thing is for sure, those that supported him to spite Igbos will first kiss the dust!

When things get tough, the tough get going. Those with natural resilience will always deflate Tinubu's evil administration.

Racoon, why reposting Farook's monologues?? The guy only likes to sound intelligent, but really isn't. Yea, I get that the broken clock that he is, is right once or twice a day, but don't tell me you haven't noticed how literally every article from Farook is actually aimed to take a jab at Obi. Did you see him taking jabs at Atiku here? Look through the article and you will see that he isn't even knocking Tinubu. Whose name do you see prominently dissected there? Don't sleep on a bicycle else you are inadvertently furthering this sick man's agenda.

Be awake, be aware.

The issue is Greece ran on borrowing to run its economy until nobody was willing to borrow them anymore.

Then their economy collapsed! angry
Then they implemented a structural adjustment program of ImF which further ruined their economy until they had to renegotiate their debt.

Tinubu, I have withdrawn my initial support for you on this obnoxious policy; reason being that ain't working and the masses are economically subjugated. One way out now is to restore out confidence by Legalization of illegal refinery and create a road map to scale up formal indigenous industrialization from this unappreciated home grown solution and technology. SOJA , our preprosterous SOJA, that cannot build ordinary small arms by themselves are in cahoots to destroy home made technology should henceforth desist and allow it to breath. As for the attendant pollution that is an immediate fallout, it's duty of govt to create massive industry around it so that the waste products can be harnessed to Generate wealth and create reduction in environmental pollution and at the same time creating series of wealth along the value chain. Nobody should entertain excuses that the illegal refinery are not safe simply because the so called FG Multi Billion dollars build refinery has not fared better and cover itself in glory but bring shame to our motherland and disgracing the black race, if for any reason it is worse.

Now that rumours have it that Our dependable Dangote refinery will take off in 2025, Haba!!!! The arguments of home grown refinery, or legalization of illegal refinery becomes valid.

All these dumb nonsense Kperoogi is deceiving people with. IMF and World bank gives advice to every country in the world including America. It's up to you to take or leave it.

Almost all countries of the world are part of IMF and World bank. And no, they are not Western institutions. Asides the US the two major sponsors of the IMF and World bank are China and Japan, which are not Western countries.
How is Japan not among the western countries?

Nonsense, this Prof is truly losing it.

But he's certainly right at the bolded below:

Apt, end of thread.
He is losing when he blames Tinubu and got it right when he blames Peter Obi for Tinubu's mess?
Hypocrite is visible only in NL.
@post,
How much was paid in subsidy prior to the removal, what's evidence do they have to present to that effect?
The writer has always had his biased for APC and was in support 9f subsidy removal at first but now that it's biting, instead of blaming Tinubu for that, he turned around to blame peter obi and also said some half truth about peter Obi.
The man Facrook should own up to his mistake of opinion.

Yes of course. Brazil is a major US ally. It is classified as a major non-NATO ally. Same with Japan, Israel and South Korea

BRICS is an economic cooperation just like G7 and not a political organization.

Also intl politics is very complicated. Israel is America's ally but also Russia's ally as well you know?
