On the matter of Wike's suspension from our party, the PDP, the acting national chairman must exercise utmost caution and refrain from following the path of the allegedly corrupt elder, Grandpa Iyorchia Ayu. Certain decisions demand tact and diplomacy, and it is imperative not to yield to the influence of the Wadata boys, who seem to be swayed by the highest bidder.

Regrettably, we find ourselves in this precarious situation, and the most prudent course of action would be to arrange a meeting with Wike and offer counsel on composing a letter of voluntary withdrawal from partisan politics.

If Wike faces suspension, should all his allies and those within our ranks who secretly engage with him also be subjected to the same fate? And what of the Rivers State governor? Will he too be suspended?

Suspending Wike may exacerbate the existing problems. If he is indeed destined to fall, let it occur organically without further complications for the party.

Alternatively, we could adopt an approach similar to that of Obasanjo's, urging him to voluntarily resign from partisan politics, even if only on paper. This measure may preserve the party's image and foster harmony among our members.

If they had done that before the campaign especially December, they will have been over it by now. They were looking at political expediency instead of long term

And in the rebuilding process, let the PDP try to broker a deal with at least one other party for a merger, in preparation for 2027, while they're still at the tribunal.
