No, you can only open 3 lot on gold at any given time and 5 lots each on forex pairs. Your open trades must not exceed 5 at any time. Go and master their rules before trophy.

Hi guys. I am new to this particular thread. I am so glad to meet people of same goal and mindset. I have been a trader for years now on&off (since 2016), and mehn, I don lose moneyyyy. Forex showed me sheygey pro-max. One time, I opted for volatilities, crash and boom, omo that one killed me totally. Yet, I didn't give up. I saw someone writing to have blown his account of $10 after demo trading for 4 months 🤣🤣, and wanted to give up. My brother, your journey jux started. Jux early this year, I lost $200 account due to greed, and coz I thought I have learnt the best strategy. It is a good strategy actually but I missed some keynotes initially. I had to revisit it, and tried it on ftmo demo, and I passed twice getting 20% of $10,000 within a week. So, it gave me hope and lighted up my mood. My advice for you is to keep on learning with demo till you know the basics, difference between responsive & initiative market participants, reversal candlesticks and chart patterns. After that, you can opt to reading books on strategy. Avoid youtube videos and stuffs coz it has too many people that jux wanna grow followers, and that will put alot of jargons in your head.
The truth I later got to know is that you can't succeed with little capital (fact), and so I thank GOD for prop firm, but I was so pissed I got to know about them after blowing my $200 account.
Also, your risk management is very very important. Atleast risk to reward ratio 1:2, and never ever go above your lot size positions until you double your account or half it. If you lose 6 out of 10 trades, my brother, you are still in profit. So ur risk management is very very important.
I have lots to add that I can't remember right now coz I'm so filled with Joy to have stumbled on this thread. From time to time, I will drop keynotes, and I also hope to learn alot from you guys.

Yes you can, but careful with that. You can lose your account if it hit stop loss..., I will advice 1 lot size on every contract you take, and increase if you half the amount before the competition is over. Trust me, before month end, you pass 20%.

Keynotes to note for the newbies:

1) focus on limited pairs (3 max).
2) limit number of losses you take in a day and leave the market (2 max).
3) Don't jux enter market to trade, know the active trading hours.
4) Avoid trading during consolidation, except there is a visible high and low for the day, and it's ranging to and fro.
5) Close trade few minutes b4 news release, and don't trade news except you are a news trader
6) Don't open too much positions (2 max) on same or different pairs.
7) Once you secure profits, leave market till the following day (Intraday traders)
As for me, I avoid market during USA&London session overlap (1300hrs to 1700hrs) coz market is always too volatile during this period, except of course I am already in trade, and in profit.
