There Is A RADICAL SHIFT In African Consciousness. Tinubu, Stay Out Of Niger by Rossikk(op):
There is A RADICAL SHIFT In African Consciousness.

Tinubu, Stay Out Of Niger Republic if you like yourself.

Unless you've been living under a rock, you'd have noticed that Africa is undergoing a radical sea change in consciousness.

A growing rise in Pan-Africanism, a hatred and rejection of western imperialist exploitation, and a yearning for African self-reliance, is on the rise across the entire continent.

This shift in consciousness is SPIRITUAL.

It is not normal.

Even the rise of Nigerian movies and Afrobeats to worldwide international status, where African music is now beloved by BILLIONS of people across the world, is a significant manifestation of that shift, and spurs Africa's new confidence before the world.

The COUPS across the Sahel in recent times are part of that SHIFT in African consciousness.

Those coups represent Mother Africa SPITTING OUT FRANCE, an arch coloniser and exploiter, whose thousands of so-called 'peacekeeping' troops in the Sahel, have done nothing but WORSEN the situation there with terrorists.

All over YouTube are videos of African leaders and parliamentarians openly rejecting western imperialism, from Museveni to Kagame to Ramaphosa to Ruto and many others.

THE AFRICAN GODS HAVE RETURNED.

The rise of Africa is on the cards.

Tinubu, if you DARE send troops to Niger, to fight this POPULAR coup being celebrated across Niger Republic, you will live to regret it.

THE GODS HAVE SPOKEN.

IT IS AFRICA'S TIME TO RISE.

In this new dispensation divinely ordained, Nations who fight against AFRICANS - God's Chosen People - a people known to the ancient Greeks as ''The Blameless Ethiopians'', will be Defeated and brought to RUIN.

This is PROPHECY coming to fruition.

Be warned!

If they want democracy to be better thing in Africa expecially Nigeria there should be a provision in constitution to allow citizen to vote every 3 years if they can continue with civil rule or military rule.

FANTASTIC SUGGESTION.

A++

This is what we need, OUR OWN WAY of devising democracy, that works for us, not this NONSENSE of practicing a wholly imported foreign paradigm of governance, with no basis in African realities.

Yet we expect it to work. How?

I still wonder why you people think we should give military rule a chance.
You have no idea what military rule feels like.

You can ask those in Sudan how their govt treats them

This particular Niger coup is so loud I wonder why, there has been other coups the West African subregion in the past 5years, but this one is just something else. Too much attention has been given it.

The military regime of Gen. Murtala Ramat Muhammed is widely acknowledged to be the most honest and progressive administration in the history of Nigeria.

The Rawlings regime in Ghana was similar.

Africans agree that democracy is the ideal, but it is not sacrosanct in the event of serious deterioration.

It must be subject to overhaul by military interregnum of say no longer than 3 years for a reset.

That is the ultimate 'checks and balances' in any system.

It will make the politicians sit up.

Where did I say you are a northerner?

Irrespective of where you come from it doesn't negate the fact. Let's hope he is not pushed by the west to do their bidding in Niger.

One truth history has taught is that democracy slows development as a result of due process and the inherent checks and balances. Most Africans were born into a world of quick reaction to situations without taking time to think, discuss and negotiate and that's the major characteristic of dictatorship be it civilian or military. No doubt dictatorship breeds accelerated progress if the dictator is a very wise and strategic leader but unlike democracy if the dictator happens to be a tyrant there are no instrumentality to check him except through another coup.

Well said Wainey.

These pro-millitary rule people don't realise the constitution is suspended when there's a coup-de-tat which effectively denies them of their basic rights.

Under martial law, you can be picked up at any time by the milliary regime, have your assets seized and have zero recourse to the courts.

Abacha and Babangida tó name But two were even more corrupt that any civilian administration and they are meant to be disciplined military people.

We should be very careful what you wish for just because our candidate lost elections.

Abacha and Babangida ruled Nigeria better than we presently are being ruled. Crime rate was much less and standard of living much higher.

The mistake you people are making is mistaking institutions for people. Africans today don't care what shape or form or definition a good government comes in, whether military, civilian, or anything else.

All they want is good governance.

They've rejected the western idea that administrative form and structure supersede administrative substance.

The idea that a so-called democratic system must be allowed to continue for several years even when the people believe the administration is hopeless.

If they are hopeless they must go, and go now, not in 4 years time at a vote!

It is left for the ruling class to decide how they want to organise their political system to fit the new architecture defined by the people.

Military government was far better than this useless democracy, do you think if it is military rule they will be bandit , Boko Haram.. Naira and dollar would been competing .. Democracy is a curse in Nigeria.

Blame Tinubu and his Zombies. They have turned it to another Igbo vs Yoruba matter especially since the coup happened less than a week after their god took ceremonial office a Ecowas head which actually lasts for one year and is rotational. Since then, the one side are mocking his chairmanship of Ecowas as a failure due to the coup, while the other side want him to save face and get Niger back as the Jagaban and master strategist.
This is the sorry state of a divided country.

Sometimes I wonder if the real reason the west are so desperate to see (their brand of) 'democracy' in Africa is that it actually weakens the African countries in several ways.

If Nigeria was under military rule, Boko Haram wouldn't have lasted 3 days in the country, IPOB would be unheard of, and Simon Ekpa would be doing his normal security job in Finland rather than forming James Bond on Twitter.

Sit-at-home would been a criminal office by Decree, punishable by FLOGGING, and these so-called bandits and kidnappers would be non-existent.

Nigeria sending troops to niger will be a very good test for Nigeria military, I can see the only successful test they have had is the biafran war, Tinubu should be encouraged to send troops to go and restore democracy in niger

Millitary rule doesn't guarantee good governance, never has in Nigeria's case. You as a civilian don't even have the ability to remove them so they just ride roughshod over you anyway like ours have.

Refuse to give a military man road when you are driving and see the reaction. A typical military man doesn't have enough skills to interact with civilians at length never mind rule over them.

If you want to replace a bad civilian administration with a good military one, I will agree with you. Sadly in Nigeria, we have never seen that happen.

It even got so bad with the military at some point that Abacha believed he had a right to rule the country after Babangida curtailed the democratic will of the people.

If you want to be under the military, feel free to join the army. The rest of us will continue to prefer elected governments.
