Aboki no dey hard to know. All una own na ban and kill... How does suspending TikTok heal the wounds in Senegal?. Be it social or economic or even political. The ills in the Nigerian system was highlighted on Twitter previously, the typical aboki response was to ban Twitter. Since then, how has things been?. Nothing has been done in terms of policies to addressing the ills noted before and after the Twitter ban. Una no too get sense for this country sha. Aboki and Yoruba people. You pretend to be patriots but we know the hatred for the igbos is only where your paths both align. Mumu people.

Some people suffering PTSD will soon blame Tinubu

Tinubu needs to build a lot of psychiatric hospitals in the southeast. The defeat of obi has created a permanent damage in their brains, we thought they will heal soon but that soon may never come.
This is no joke, these people dream of Tinubu and scream waking up every night . They can’t just believe the person they hated most in the world is ruling them. To come back to reality has become a problem that they are suffering series of mental torture and hallucinations
seems to me like it's you who needs to visit a mental institution especially as neither tinubu nor obi were mentioned in the article

That TikTok wey be drug?

Depression about to hit the younger generation of Senegalese.

Will this approach be counter productive?

One way to find out, only time knows, only time will tell.

There seems to be an uprising going on in Africa.

The millennials seem to be done taking the bullshit of the baby boomers.

And if millennials do not get it right, they'll be in for a big challenge from the Gen Zs who are even less tolerant.

Thomas Sankara is back!

Before TikTok how many people were depressed?

The problem is the black man's understanding of power and leadership.
I'm a black man and I can tell you for free that the whites are better administrators. Anyone might want to argue this but they should go and research the economy of African countries colonized by the whites pre-independence, and compare it to just two years post-independence, when it was being managed by the son of the soil. Also, go and look at schools, businesses/companies, etc. that were first managed by whites, and then by a black man.
The truth is many of our leaders who sought independence from the white did it from a place of insincerity and entitlement; where they felt they owned the resources but it is the whites who are controlling it, and not because they feel they can do better than the whites. And it is this wrong idealogy that got us to where we are today, that despite having tried the military and democrats, we still ended in the same place and with the same result.
While the whites see leadership as an opportunity to serve, the blacks see leadership as an opportunity to be served. Similarly, while whites seek power to do better than their predecessor, the black see power as an opportunity to enjoy what their predecessor is enjoying but that they couldn't due to lack of power. That is why, for some of them that cannot cling power, when invited to the table of power, will transition suddenly from activists to motivational speakers. And for a few of them that actually do cling power (like the current Senegal president), who spend half their lives wailing to be oppressed or the mouthpiece of the oppressed, will suddenly become the oppressors. Being the oppressed is what the black man has a problem with, they don't mind being the oppressor.

Methinks it is too early to start running up the hill to herald the arrival of a Messiah.

If in doubt, speak to Egyptians, who are currently experiencing buyer's remorse with El-Sisi (slayer of the Muslim brotherhood). cool

The current President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, widely considered to be a man of the military, is another Egyptian leader who struggles to find his way around the complex state structures of the regime. The tension between political-military apparatus and Islamists has been at the heart of a 67-year-old power struggle and continues to be so today. In fact, the Free Officers Coup of 1952 that catapulted Nasser to power also arose from the military establishment. This is one of the reasons why many commentators compare the leader of the Coup, Gamal Abdul Nasser, with current president El-Sisi.

Well...acording to you because people are misusing ticktock then it is good to ban it. People misuse so many things in Africa, one of them i gave you an example with vehicles.

Yes, i am aware of the rumour that the chinese government may be controlling ticktock. But that is not reason to ban it, afterall there are no proofs Chinese government is controlling ticktok.

And if you don't want ticktok app on your phone don't download it, leave other people who wants it to download it. It is not by force to surscribe to ticktok.
