🇷🇺 Russia has signed agreements for military cooperation with over 40 African countries, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced on Friday in St Petersburg.

Putin made the announcement during the second and final day of the second Russia-Africa Summit, saying “We are developing partnerships in military and military-technical cooperation with more than 40 African states to strengthen the defence capabilities of the countries."

“African states received a wide range of weapons and technology, some for free. Some of these deliveries are provided on a gratuitous basis with the aim of enhancing the security and sovereignty of the countries.”

Putin also announced that Russia would provide assistance to the countries in their efforts to free themselves from the “vestiges of colonialism.”

Russia and China has pragmatic solutions to Africa's problems. Not like America whose solutions are democracy, human rights and gay rights while supporting corruption. Hungry and ravaged communities don't need those nonsense

And Russia would be collecting mineral resources in return. Nothing goes for free. They are just replacing the West in the continuous rape of Africa.

The West can cut off all the aids, subsidized drugs, DFID funds, USAID funds e.t.c. it sends to Africa. Hopefully, the lack of freebies from the West which has made us lazy and unserious, would make African leaders become serious and buckle up.
