Pls I will be Glad if u can guide me on some information, I have a Benin 🇧🇯 passport and I had its visa free to Ecuador pls how can I go with it I was told to fly to South Africa visa free stay there for a day and from there fly with LATAM to Ecuador but I will be transit at Brazil for 8h 30m and Peru for 2h hope I don’t need transit visa or suggest for me how I can make it easy to get to Ecuador 🙏

I wouldn’t say western minded but Africans generally see the only developed part of the world as being the West and other parts like Latin America, Asia and Oceania as being more or less on the same footing of Africa. I’ve seen Nigerians compare their country with India, Mexico, Brazil, China, UAE etc. Nigerians have a serious ego problem. I think Africans don’t realise as to how far behind they are to the rest of the world. Latin America and Africa ain’t on the same league and neither is Asia particularly East Asia that is more than a rival to the West.
