A graphic designer must acquire the knowledge of manipulating images , because 8 out of 10 times you will work with crude images from clients

Other aspect have been made easy with templates..

If AI can seamlessly retouch images with just 3 taps or less, then graphic designers are loosing their jobs , take it or leave it

image manipulation, you must have googled that and Google gave you this write-up. , how many people does image manipulation, infact how many jobs are there on image manipulation? You don't just go ahead to ask Google questions and you come to argue about nonsense on Google. Have you heard of Ui User (User interface) that is graphics design, how many of them are doing image manipulation. There are different types of graphics design and image manipulation is not even the top, if that what you learn and want to survive you will hardly get jobs only on that alone. I'm not a graphics designer, I'm a motion designer, but you need graphics design experience to be a motion designer. I'm yet to see ai do what real graphic designers are doing. It possible they can, but not in 20years to come sef, cause graphic design is not even about image manipulation. Like I said above. And when it comes to challenge, image retouching or manipulation is not even near challenging to designing a full blow app for android and iOS.
