You are not making sense bruv. Enzo need a defensive partnering like Kante and Jorginho. Santos too inexperience for that while Gallagher is not a CDM nor box to box, he is average too or you want us to turn into mid table team. When Madrid tried to use Kroos as CDM last season we all saw how they were pummeled by city and some la liga teams.

Gundogan was a City player when we lost to Leicester in 2021 and Liverpool just last season. The community shield is usually City's 3rd or 4th competitive friendly before the season while other teams are fitter having usually played more games.

Pep was simply trying out IF/OR formations.
