nazicartel:You so much believe that Niger with just 12000 troops would matched 250000 Nigeria troops |

garfield1:Where did you see railway in my comment? |
| Re: Nigeria-Niger Mega Rail Project Threatened, Over 1,000 Trucks Trapped by garfield1: 4:29pm On Aug 08, 2023 |
Penguin2:The topic was about stoppage of the railway.your comment implied that you condemned tinubu for the stoppage.perhaps it was done in ignorance and foolishness as usual |

garfield1:My comment was about the general outcome of Tinubu’s approach to the Niger saga. It doesn’t necessarily mean I wrote in support of the railway. The Kano-Maradi rail line can continue after the Coastal Rail line is completed. That one is more beneficial to Nigerians and of more economic importance. |

Penguin2:Your comment about general outcome of tinubu handling of the niger saga is meant for other threads with fluid topics not this one.it is strictly about railway,no more no less.you must limit yourself to the topic at hand.even in the courts, the law narrows a case to the issues joined between parties. |

garfield1:”No more, no less”? It’s obvious to me now that you don’t read the content of posts. You just see headline and rush and type comments. But even in this post, the headline equally contains the rider that over “1000 trucks are stuck at various Niger borders”. Now, if you had read beyond headline, you would have found out that just one of these 1000 trucks is carrying 300 bags of onions belonging to about 20 traders and it’s been stuck for over a week and at risk of perishing. You think those ones were not worthy of eliciting my comments? |

Penguin2:The major topic is the rail.any other thing bonus.by the way, niger is a total parasite.they almost totally depend on us so whather they are bringing here is irrelevant.what matters is what they get from us |
| Re: Nigeria-Niger Mega Rail Project Threatened, Over 1,000 Trucks Trapped by Penguin2: 9:34pm On Aug 08, 2023 |
garfield1:Oh! Now you have accepted that rail is not the only topic but the main topic? Now, who said I cannot comment based on the sub topic? Who said? |

Penguin2:Nigeria will stifle the junta with sanctions until they capitulate.threatebing use of force doesn't mean it will actually be applied |

garfield1:Tinubu goofed big time. I don’t expect you to agree but Tinubu goofed. Right now, the Niger Junta will never ever trust him. The implication of that is that things will remain frosty as long as Tinubu remains president because those guys will continue to watch their back. |

Penguin2:Tinubu did not goof, someone like you that does not understand politics won't understand intl relations.the junta will surrender power before January |
| Re: Nigeria-Niger Mega Rail Project Threatened, Over 1,000 Trucks Trapped by Penguin2: 10:12pm On Aug 08, 2023 |
garfield1:Lemme tell you something, I have the history of entire Africa on my finger tips and I’d probably know more about International Relations than your next minister of foreign affairs. And this is not me bragging, no, I don’t brag, I’m just stating facts. Now, who will the junta hand over to? To Bazoum that has signed his resignation letter? Or you haven’t heard that? Again, why do you think the junta leaders are holding on tightly to him? If your Tinubu and his French masters move mad, they will slaught*r him like chicken. |
| Re: Nigeria-Niger Mega Rail Project Threatened, Over 1,000 Trucks Trapped by garfield1: 10:20pm On Aug 08, 2023 |
Penguin2:The junta has to either hand over to bazoum or pick a transitional govt.but remaining in power is not an option.bazoum dying is not important but civilians ruling is the priority |
| Re: Nigeria-Niger Mega Rail Project Threatened, Over 1,000 Trucks Trapped by Penguin2: 11:11pm On Aug 08, 2023 |
garfield1:Well, I’m sure you haven’t heard that they appointed a civilian as Prime Minister. |
| Re: Nigeria-Niger Mega Rail Project Threatened, Over 1,000 Trucks Trapped by garfield1: 11:22pm On Aug 08, 2023 |
Penguin2:Oga,the junta must handover fully to civilians soon.if they like, they can retire and contest as civilians but they must not remain in power |

heysquare:They will match. They will go with conventional war. The rebels in that state will join with the military, even the citizens will join to fight the intruders. It's never an easy war. |
