It depends sha. At the point of application, I think a dummy ticket will do. My mom used a dummy ticket and we didn't have any issues. I also know a lot of people that used a flight itinerary and no issues. But not at the point of flying.

I just quickly googled ICR. Says Invoice Cum Receipt. Did you do biometrics in Lagos and sent your passport to Abuja for stamping or vice versa? In that case you needed to pay transmission fee. If you paid, did you attach the receipt?

Thanks for your response. No i did biometrics in Lagos and submitted to Lagos. I plan to resubmit but my major concern now is i am way over the 30 days submissions window. My PPR expired July 30. Has anyone been in this situation before?

Did you attach the slip they gave you during biometrics to show you did biometrics there in Lagos vac?

No I did not. Neither did i attach the yellow slip either. I am suspecting that is why it was returned but its unfortunate no letter or reason was given for returning the package.

Gurus in the house...please your opinion is needed here...I submitted my passport for stamping since 7th July..on the 20th of July I received a message that the decision envelope for my application has been received at CVO Abuja and is ready for collection..I submitted in Lagos through my agent via UPS and the arrangement is that VFS will return it back to the address we provided..

Yesterday,I decided to track my application using the VFS global website and the message they drop their is saying that my passport has been couriered from Canada visa application centre to the courier partner on the 24th July 2023...that I should visit the courier partner website for the status of the shipment..

My agent said he has not received the package and that he is still waiting for it.

Please is it possible that the passport is still with VFS even though they sent the message that it has been couriered to the courier partner??

Your opinion is needed please.

Many of this online advocate we no see them online again,people don dey land and facing canada reality . Winter is coming and sleeping om street can be deadly ...people need connect well and prepare before coming to canada,lmia is a now a daydream pls wake up!!

For all kind of visa. You can stay at each visit for a maximum of 6 months. Even if you have 10yrs visa. You must exit the country before 6 months or change your visa status before 6 months.

While some peiople arrive poe and are stamp 7 days,14 or less so the 6 month is never automatic,boarder officier can decide you deserve less!! And even if you granted 6 month if you stay beyond 3 month on vv,l beg say bye bye to canada fir a long time bwcos if you exist and rush back less than 6 month withouf extreme concrete reason ..you will face big interogration on ur return and may be refuse entry!!

I also want to book air maroc to Canada but from Lagos to Canada, but I want to visit their office tomorrow at VI cos their fees is in dollars , I don't know their exchange rate ... So I want to visit their office tomorrow so they can tell me everything I need to know, their exchange rate so I can know how much it will cost me in naira, and possibly I will book the flight to Canada tomorrow , though it will be for me to fly august or September depends on how much the flight cost

That’s the reason they didn’t stamp it, did you submit it by your self or through courier
They would have asked ya about it since they couldn’t find it
You have to resubmit and if it’s more than 30 days just like you said it may lead to visa refusal
You have to submit through courier I think they do some kind of appease which will cost ya a little cash

Let that agent go there and get it by his or her self, someone I knew got same message but couldn’t wait to for the courier, he went there and get it by his self
Don’t listen to what ever they are saying or sending to ya, believe me that ya passport have been there since they sent ya that mail
Let him or her go with the courier shit and the passport data page they gave him or her on the submission day
After submitting your passport they will give a sheet that you will come with on the collection day right
Tell him or her to go with it at the Canada embassy which is located at lekki

Good day, please I just need clarification on this cause now I am concerned for my brother. He mentioned that when he went to submit his passport in Lagos, they asked him to show the documents they gave to him after he did his biometrics and when he showed it to them, they acknowledged it and returned the doc back to him. Should I be worried about the stamping of his passport? Please anyone with similar experience should help answer this too.
