It's that time of the month again and nepa bill is here imagine someone in a one bedroom apartment paying 14500. The bill is 58000 when you divide it by 4 apartment it's 14500. For a place like ikorodu it's crazy. As at Feb this year I was paying 8000 plus
What will those in lekki and vi pay?

it's available, not for free. Go and buy it won't take you 1 month for them to install it

I paid 7k for 24hrs light in Gusau, Zamfara state for 4 bedroom building but I paid 5k whenever the light is not up to 20hrs in some days because of the faulty transformer.

In satellite town we paid forty eight thousand naira for two units of room and parlour self-contains. They even said the prepaid meters are worser nowadays, especially for those using refrigerators and ACs.

We use to have light like 22hrs+ a day prepaid meter is my saving grace

Getting a room mate has it's challenges but if your house is built in such a way that each will occupy his own room but share the bathroom. Then you can try it and see if you can share costs so save.

Looks like the South is still subsidising electricity for the North even. Otherwise, how else do you explain this fuckery explained here?!

You will have to find a way to lower your consumption. I live alone in a mini flat with all the necessary electronics, appliances and gadgets, and I only buy 7k per month which I don't even finish sef. I only spend most of my time at home on weekends. Find ways to limit your consumption, is in your hand except you're using it to make money or you have kids.

Check all your light bulbs and make sure is low energy 5watts I will find out the good model for you and see your bill drop.

I use to pay 3k a month for 3 bedroom and had all comforts save for the very large tv( I no like loud noise so no need). I now use inverter do not want to deal with Nepa current or petrol.
