Chelsea are working with Southampton on the structure of the deal for Lavia. Fee expected to be £50m + Add ons. [@FabrizioRomano on YT] #CFC

Chelsea have spent more in 1 year than Pep in his first 6 years at City. You better dominate the premier league in the next 6years winning nothing less than 4 Epl titles.
Add Olise to the list. They just activated his release clause.

Watched the game, wasn’t impressed, It was down to Liverpool being bad more than anything

I still remain a Chelsea fan but nothing about this club fills me with optimism, subpar players, bland coach with false assumptions of his capabilities.

My agenda has evolved to ownership change.

If we struggle this season, What’s the plan? Another 1billion revamp, clueless owners, clueless fans.

Christopher Nkunku - £51.55mil
Nicolas Jackson - £31.79mil
Diego Moreira- 🆓
Ângelo Grabiel - £12.95mil
Lesley Ugochukwu - £23.50mil
Axel Disasi - £38.66mil
Robert Sánchez - £25mil(£20mil+ 5mil)
Moisés Caicedo - £115mil(£100mil+ 15mil)
Kendry Paez — £17.5m
Deivid Washington - £17m(£14mil+3mil)

Spent £310m

Possible incomings

Roméo Lavia - £55m(£52mil + 3mil)
Michael Olise £35
GK? £30m
CF? Wahi? £30m

Last season Chelsea spent £527.5m losing £44m to wasted loan deals and Koulibaly's resale.

It's safe to say Boehly's has invested £838m and may still spend £170m more in Lavia, Olise, a back GK and possibly another CF

We can achieve it, £1billion in players purchased. We are almost there Boehly. 😔
For those keeping track and record of our summer signings and spendings.

Please update yaselves, £310m + £50m for Lavia + £35m for Olive

That should be £395m but you can make it £400m

Is there any reason why you are not factoring additional revenue streams such as sponsorships, shirt sales, stadium income, and TV rights ?

Commercial and TV revenue alone is very significant
This is just factoring the impact of transfers alone, not including revenue streams nor costs which are also significant

However what you don't realize is that £157m will recur in the books for the next 7 years till those players contracts expire, while there will be no more homegrown players to sell to offset the £157m

The profit generated by player sales is a one time profit (Profit on disposal) while the amortized spending is recurring each year

Meaning Boehly has done all his spending upfront leaving little wiggle room in future transfer windows

Gallagher, Chalobah, Odoi and Broja sales will be pure accounting profit since their carrying value is zero and are more likely than not in order to balance the books either now or next accounting year

When Lukaku, Ziyech, Sterling, Kepa, Cucurella and Fofana are eventually sold, it will also generate huge accounting losses to offset.

That's why I said months ago that Chelsea will need to sell most homegrown players to generate accounting profit to offset the amortized spending
and I don't see an issue with that just you are from Cobham doesn't mean you get automatic pass into first team.

2 attackers? Is it because they want to betray and sell Matseen. Is preseason a scam?

Chelsea will step up plans to sell Conor Gallagher, Trevoh Chalobah, Ian Maatsen, Callum Hudson-Odoi and Hakim Ziyech. Carney Chukwuemeka or Lesley Ugochukwu could be loaned out. Conor Gallagher is keen to stay and fight for his place. #CFC (@NizaarKinsella)

You want to sell Matseen but keep Cucurella and Sterling 😭😭😭, they better add buy back clause and 40% sell on clause.

Loaning Ugochukwu or, thought he was definitely going on loan where did the "OR" come from. Does Poch really want to him because of aerial weakness in the midfield. Anyway Chukwuemeka really needs a full season to shine, hope he gets a great club. Between he and Ugochukwu, the should go on loan.

Like play like play Gallagher go stay Chelsea like this, hope he improves on Liverpool pools game.

Colwill dey talk about the manager hope Poch told him how much he almost cost Chelsea the game.
what is blud crying about 🤣

Gallagher is starting to look good unfortunately his development came late ,let him go to west ham I see him becoming another Declan rice.

as for maatsen I will love to keep him ,but then again we have lewis hall who Chelsea rates highly,so 🤷

That's it, we should just put buy back clause for any of them that we are selling.

Maatsen & Hall not getting chances at left-back in a shame to me, left to me Chilwell & Cucurella were two of our worst players last season and both should have been moved one, at worst even one.

Chilwell is shit in buildup, very very poor techinal player that is only good at attacking spaces & Road running, not good enough as a left back.

Cucurella can't overlap so zero attacking value & he is also very clumsy defensively, only good in buildups that's it.

I am not confident on two of them as our left backs options sha.

I will prefer sell on clause buyback clause for Gallagher doesn't make sense when our midfield is set for years.

and for lewis hall he is the reason why Chelsea wants to offload cucurella

Multiple sources close to the Romeo Lavia transfer have expressed bemusement over Liverpool's tactics and he was left feeling that he was second choice after they bid for Moises Caicedo.

- @guardian_sport

In hindsight Liverpool's actions benefitted Chelsea's acquisition of both Caicedo and Lavia 🍷

We really f.ucked Liverpool up lol. Why are Liverpool fans crying like they don't have other options to go for. Sangare is available and has a £30M release clause. There's Matthaus Nunes, Crystal palace Doncoure who is very good and won their player of the season, Palhinha who would have been perfect for us, Kone and even Ndidi.

You cannot believe those two things at the same time - wanting to sell Chelsea Youth for profit, but not wanting them to get automatic pass to the first team.

We have spent so much money on transfers, that WE HAVE to sell Cobham players at pure profit money. No way around it.

The problem is that without first team exposure, even the best prospects of Cobham players cost £5 max. There's not a lot of value there. You will only find one Livramento/Guehi (who manage to make very good success of a loan) and moves on for good money.

The big bucks come from the players that eventually get good, extended first team exposure - Mount, Tomori, Gallagher, Chalobah etc.

Therefore, I strongly believe that there MUST BE a clear policy in place that allows every Cobham player automatic pass to first team. It helps all the young players to be the best they can be and we benefit in two ways.

1. If you are good enough, maybe you get to displace a first team player (Case in point Reece James). And you save the club £30m/£40m plus in transfer fees.
2. If you are second tier, you get to earn the club £20m plus.

You will never achieve these two things without a clear policy in place. In fact, without a clear policy in place, you lose potentially revenue (case in point Mendel Idowu).

Unpopular opinion, with the new crop of players we have around now maybe we can give Lukaku a second chance.

🚨 Chelsea were closing in on the signing of Elye Wahi for €30M + add ons but the player is reconsidering his options. He's unsure about his place in the Chelsea project.

Eintracht are keen but won't make a move until Randal Kolo Muani leaves and West Ham have offered €35M.

If we are not able to bring in another striker in the remaining weeks, I won't mind him since he has stubbornly blocked the good moves we could have used to sell him. I was hoping we would have swapped him for vlahovic but it was not successful.

With the way clearlake capital are ready to spend for the first team including the numerous small children they buy, the road to the first team would now be tougher for cobham graduates. Even the ones we loan out that perform exceptionally well might still have the likelihood of being sold to balance our books. We would have to have a transfer ban like in 2019 to view some of the boys properly in the first team.
