One of the ways to conquer a people is to not allow them have control over their lives and territories. The Abuja indigenous people have been conquered by the Yoruba and Hausa/Fulani.

So now which reason do the president wants to give to justify the appointment of a southerner to head FCT?

Little gestures we make that might seem harmless can throw a full society into chaos....

The earlier we begin to recognise legitimate tribes in our society, the better for us....

We can't kill or wipe out an entire tribe , no matter how small, but we can accept a representative from them to make them feel included and among....

NNPC is a federal government corporation... The leadership isn't tribal because the decision taken there can affect the whole country positively or negatively...
FCT has indigenous peoples living there... They have a say one way or the other ... Even if the minister isn't from Abuja, at least let him come from a northern state ....
You would have used an example like NDDC... Can a northerner head that commission??

If it is rigging forget,Abuja is very hard to be rigged.

The people are tough to deal with. Radio and television stations everywhere,international inpectors almost everywhere and will he fight the indigenes?

And you believe after about 5 to 6 FCT ministers of Northern extraction, common sense should not prevail that other parts of the country be given the opportunity to occupy the seat? Remember, FCT is a city for the entire Federation and not a Northern city

Is Abuja not the FCT again? is it a northern state capital?
while nddc is created for oil producing states, Abuja is the capital of Nigeria not the capital of northern states.
