You don't collect loan to start a business rather you get loan to expand because starting a business is speculative, not a done deal.

Start with what you have on a small scale, then when your demand exceeds supply you can take a loan to service the deficit demand.

Loan is never a bad thing if it is procured for investment or business purposes. Don't borrow to meet a need because you're broke. Where will you get the money to meet another need when it arises or how will you repay the loan
Even if you're borrowing for business,you have to do your due diligence about the business,don't join the band wagon,make sure you use the loan to do business you're very familiar with or have experience in doing.
