Breaking: Gov. Diri Close party man defect to APC throws support for sylva/MacIver

LETTER OF RESIGNATION FROM THE PEOPLES DEMOCRATIC PARTY (PDP)

I want to use this medium to profoundly thank His Excellency, Sen. Douye Diri, the Executive Governor of Bayelsa state , for giving me the Opportunity to serve as the state as Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of special Duties.

I would also like to Sincerely thank all the critical stakeholders and party stalwarts of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ward 10, SILGA for their Support and Cooperation all these years.

I am grateful for the opportunity to serve the party as a member of the state Executive Council of the Party. My service to the party at various levels has greatly enriched my wealth of experience and deepened my knowledge of the urgent needs of the state.

I have taken time to Critically Examine the Current realities and the pace of development of our dear state and I have come to the Conclusion that the Current government which I serve till this moment can’t enthron the urgently needed accelerated development of our dear state.

I have therefore, Decided to formally resign my membership of the peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and pitch tent with my leader , Chief Pastor Reuben Clifford Wilson and other Progressive Minded persons to move the state forward.

This decision is solely for the betterment of our people and the entire state. It is premised on the fact that we urgently need to join hands with visionary leaders to fast-track development of the state. My primary focus in life at this time is to embrace and work with ideas that will positively change the pathetic narrative of our dear state and the people.

It’s in pursuit of my sincere desire to join forces with people whose primary interest is the holistic and accelerated development of our state, that I formally write you this resignation letter .
