Not necessarily party politics but other factors inclusive which we know deep down. The first is zoning of Governorship which Orlu zone has held for so long thereby making other parts of the State unhappy . No matter what the Governor does they will find a fault.

Gov Otti is not like Rochas Okorocha and Hope Uzodinma who said respectively that they were building Owerri to "International standards;" and to "designer's delight;" reduced other urban towns of Imo state to rural areas, because they don't originate from those urban towns; two men who don't understand the importance of uniform development in a state; two men who believe that state was created for development of only the state capital by state governors.

Ikpeazu did better in Abia State than what Otti is presently doing as far as infrastructure is concerned. Otti is just riding on propaganda for now. As for Okorocha he did well in Orlu and it is the envy of our neighbouring States. Uzodinma is also doing well in Orlu as he has completed the Orlu-Owerri expressway to become the smoothest intercity road in Southeast presently laced with streetlights from beginning to ending. He is also building Mgbidi to Okporo expressway with streetlights all in Orlu. There is nothing you can do that van make Umuahia as large and developed as Aba just like there's no way Orlu can be like Owerri.
