Sir Louis P. Odumegwu Ojukwu (1909-1966) was Nigeria and West Africa's first billionaire, amassing a fortune of $14 billion in present-day value.

He was a prosperous businessman involved in transportation, trading, palm oil (Akwụ Ojukwu), and the stock exchange. He introduced the Igbo apprenticeship system, a legacy that persisted even after the Civil War. He Is also the father of Biafran leader Emeka Odumegwu Ojukwu.

His death left a legacy of prosperity within the Igbo community.

He held the chieftaincy title of the Lodifi of Ilesa. He was the first Nigeria Billionaire.

Mansa Musa, Candido Da Rocha , Sir Odutola etc were billionaires before Ojukwu senior was born.

Funny enough, the Queen slept in the house of Sir Odutola in Ijebu. That’s the only personal house she found comfortable and convenient. Not Ojukwu’s house.

So you see, the Odutolas whose house the queen slept in are not even making mouth all over the place. It’s the ipob people that are making noise over a vehicle that the Emir of Kano equally provided for the Queen’s northern trip.
