MEGAWATCH:
What difference those it make?

At least from records we are yet to see the military holding salaries of workers during their era, that's the number one means of working against the economy by your so called angels of politicians.
Who told you they don't owe salaries?
When I did my youth service, it was partly military and civilian, I can tell you a state that cannot play ball in Abuja will have their allocation delayed hence late payment of salaries even during the military era

and tell me any developments democracy brought to Nigeria. Many roads constructed by the military administration, are still well ok compare to civilian government.
do you know that the first thing military governments do when they get to power is suspension of constitution and fundamental human rights? Do u know you can’t publicly criticize them?

Your argument holds no water since civilian rule aka democracy has been of no benefits to the masses. You are comparing two bad cases to determine which is worse. If democracy has been beneficial, this debate won't arise in the first place. Do you call a father handing over to his son after 42 years democracy? Or do people rigging themselves into power considered democracy?

The military appoint whoever they like into positions of power. Civilians do the same too or do you think "bow and go" is a ministerial screening? You seem to fall for the smokescreen.

Dear Nigerians, we must not allow the military do what we are supposed to do, otherwise nothing will change. Take a look at history those citizens who chose to be cowards and lazy allowed military to continue to suppress them. E.g Iran- the Iranian people were chilling before, had exotic places, beautiful women was basically a tourist attraction. USA helped their monarch to loot and plunder their resources and the people cowardly did nothing untill an Islamic sect overthrew their despot, that is why Iran is what it is today. We must restructure our country to regions, delegate power away from the center that's the only way to stop a coup...

So all the looting with impunity that happened under GEJ was perpetrated by the military? When Nigeria finally gets a real patriotic leader you will know. From 1960 till date, it has been a government of the cabal, by the cabal and for the cabal. The rest of you can only analyze and try to make sense and excuses for a hopeless situation.

I was enjoying your tale until you mentioned 111Buhari",😎 na Dem.
No, he is right about Buhari .

After he came out of detention in 1989, Buhari was forming ' humble man' living in one wretched bungalow in Daura until Abacha invited him to come and eat, after that he upgraded to mansion self.

That's why some of us dey look at Nigerian leaders one kind.

And he would end up worse.

That nonsense must not be allowed to happen in Nigeria, otherwise, there won't be another elections for 20 or more years.

I have a fleeting experience of the dark years of military rule. The abusive Operation Sweep and the power drunk soldiers. I don't want such a time again. Never!

These re real military men , not ours here that only block road to collect 1k from trucks from Maiduguri to Lagos, fight with latsma and police, shoot innocent protesting citizens dead, steal monies meant for purchase of arms, buy outdated or expired one(like the Independence Day parachute saga) Harras innocent citizens without provocation, that why the re at the mercy of bandits and terrorists, that slaughter them in 20s , the abandon their duty post in Borno to take over fish business in baga .

Please tell them, please tell them. A lot of them dont know the liberties they enjoy today. A lot of them cry for Endsars and police brutality but they dont know that this is enshrined in a military regime, that presidential hitsquads are legal and several security outfits are licensed to kill and can never be questioned they never new sergeant Rogers and the real Al Mustapha not the refined democrat they are seeing today. That there is no press freedom or judicial liberties that people were sentenced to death and executed for selling hemp and today they are singing songs with colos. No be everything be cruise o majority of under 33 will be shocked if they experience military regime. Please brother tell them. I am not APC, I am not a Tunubu supporter but i support the Ecowas intervention in Niger, I stand against coups in Africa and i support any operation to deter coups in Africa.

So he was basically jealous of his cousin and wanted to have the power his cousin had hence why he staged the coup.

He is even a cousin to the president. Though military take over is the last thing..but it becomes inevitable when one family has turned the country's leadership into family inheritance. Good riddance to bad rubbish
Re: Coup Ringleader: Meet Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema, Gabon’s Interim Leader by Baatunde(m): 3:00pm On Aug 31, 2023
What surprises me about all the comments in favour of coup everywhere is that the I am yet to see a protagonist of coups ever asking for coup or shall we say IMPEACHMENT against their state governors who have more direct impact on the quality of their lives than the central government. Many commentators in the past have raised this point that we seem to overconcentrate on the Federal government thus driving the focus away from the other tiers of government whose performance have been horrific to say the least. When are we going to start holding our governors and elected lawmakers accountable for the stuffs within their jurisdiction of which they are failing to deliver?

Which stupid revolution are they shouting about with military boys taking advantage of the apparent inadequacies of politicians when in reality the khaki boys themselves have NEVER proved to be better. IF khaki is good for ruling why did the likes of Ghadafi and Rawlings have to transition to civilians after seizing power in the uniform? Whether we like it or not and despite their inadequacies, civilian government are still closer to the people and are accountable whilst the khaki boys have no one they account to

keymatt:
Election riggers, Rubber stamp Senate, Corrupt Judiciary and supporters of mandate thieves take note.
Revolution is taking over Africa!!!! cool
From now henceforth, it will no longer be business as usual. Injustice and impunity tolerated years ago will never be tolerated today. 😎😎😎😎
