Felix and Cancelo as well as getting Ilkay Gundogan are the main reasons I see him being hyped up.

Based on the team we have on paper, Kilishi's expectations is not unrealistic. Semifinals should be our target or Xavi's. The worst we can do is quarterfinals and Xavi has no excuses.

Barcelona has paid a grand total of €0 for Joao Felix’s full season loan to Atletico Madrid.

For reference, Chelsea paid €11 million for a 6 month loan for the same player.

Atletico grossly overpaid for him in 2019 and people overhyped him to the heavens because of his price. He's not being good anywhere– flopped at atletico, flopped at Chelsea and flopping for Portugal.
Cancelo and Gundogan are very good additions but I don't think it's enough to make us heavyweights again.
Don't get me wrong, we have a good squad of players, but I don't think xavi has the adeptness to make the most of what we have.

We seem to have a better squad than last year plus Roque is coming in January, We've plugged two key holes in DM and RB though short term
I ain't gonna lie Felix is a personal favorite of mine so I tend to show my bias towards him sometimes, If xavi can get him to at least 80% of the potential he first showed us at benfica then we could be in business, Na only city and bayern i respect to handle us for UCL, The rest na 50-50 so I believe we can at least crack that semis spot if we don't meet those two juggernauts

See as net spend choke, 102m left after expenditure despite the likes of lenglet, dest and Garcia not being sold
Hopefully this counts positively towards our FFP margin next year, the board has really done a good job in terms of cutting off most high earners and building the team with mostly frugal costs, Alemany was massive during his short time here
