The act establishing the National Youth service corps clearly makes it compulsory for every graduate under 30 years to do a 1 year service to the nation after which a discharge certificate is issued which is a compulsory requirement for employment in Nigeria be it in public or private sector.

I'm sure you have also read the official position of NYSC on the issue of holding public office.

I'm sure you're also aware of a former minister of finance who had to resign because of her forged nysc certificate.
