In the dying days of his administration in 2007, President Olusegun Obasanjo sold 51 percent of federal government’s stakes in two of Nigeria’s four ailing refineries to Bluestar Oil Services Ltd — a consortium floated by Dangote Oil, Zenon Oil and Transcorp Plc — for $761 million.https://www.thecable.ng/is-nigeria-truly-under-a-spell/amp

Yes! -Nigeria is cursed with the ill conceived motive of the colonial masters on the amalgamation question. -The economic, political, ethno-religious, geographical and constitutional imbalances. -Failure of government @ all strata( military, democracy), widespread endemic institutional corruption, weak regulatory/government institutions, -Unnecessary influence and interference of the colonial masters in our political life till date. |

We have no business with being a net importer of petroleum products, so much so the aviation industry is sometimes paralysed because of fuel scarcity. Nigeria is the only country that experiences this constant affliction. Some things are too weird about us. That is why some think the country is under a spell.Nigeria is just a criminal enterprise being runned by political criminals. |

Tinubu is a very selfish and unpatriotic person. He knew Buhari was a disaster but still went ahead to package him for Nigerians. The druggie never cared if Buhari destroyed the country. All that mattered to the emilokan crooner was to take over from Buhari after 8years. |

Believe it or not, Nigeria can not be better as a single entity. It can only keep getting worse. Divide it and see every unit flourishing because it will give birth to true nations with true patriots. |

The cost of the decisions we took or failed to take — yesterday is coming back to bite us hard today and threatening to pull down the already fragile economy. With dwindling oil output and export, we are currently facing a double whammy: we export little oil and spend the little income to import petroleum products because we do not refine at home. |

Apparently the country keeps sinking day by day and the citizens are suffering and smiling. Same people that are suffering, are still supporting irregularities of politicians. |

Lol. What I find amusing about those who complain most about Nigeria is their lack of understanding of the fundamental problems bedevelling Nigeria, and the tendency of some unpatriotic elements to use our collective pains, as a guise to canonise and install their own person, as the Messiah the country desperately needs, when all indicators says otherwise |
