Yeah it was FIFA and Nike. Nike has banked on a Ronaldo final and nothing was going to get in their way. As long as he was alive he was going to play that final. The hours leading up to that final were some of the strangest i had seen. From reports that he had a seizure, to reports that that it was just gastroenteritis, to reports that he would not play and denials all around from everybody, and then conspiracy theories that the French had poisoned him. ALL before the final had kicked off. The final kicked off and he was slower and less agile than usual and was just not sharp in his reactions.
