Why did you rig the election for APC since you were sure he can't win the election.
Nemesis will catch up with you all.
PDP got 14million, APC 8 million.

It wasn't Tinubu that told collective PDP(Atiku, Obi, Kwawkanso and G5) to split their votes into 4.

Democracy and judiciary are both perfect only when delusional narcissistic fools like Obi wins. Any other times, they are compromised.
Sore loser.

“For me, the way the election went, it was a tough election. I give it to INEC (the Independent National Electoral Commission),” he said.

Wike said sentiments aside, Obi couldn’t have won the election. “Yes, as a young man, people would have preferred that but look at how the votes went,” he said.

“There is this generational change, the young people were tired. So, for them, the only hope they had was to vote for Obi as a younger person compared to other candidates.

“But unknown to them, that is not the reality of Nigerian politics. They didn’t take into cognisance that ethnicity is a factor. They didn’t take into cognisance that religion is a factor, not only competence; that is the reality of Nigerian politics,” the ex-governor of Rivers State said.
Thank God wicke Wike agrees that Peter Obi is young, capable and well loved. We also thank God he is crediting the INEC for the hatchet job she did during the elections, God is watching us all undecided undecided undecided undecided

Because both him and his entire followers are all daft!
Obi of all people should know that at our present state it will be extremely impossible to give an Igbo man power.

They were just too emotional, sentimental and illogical to think. He has all the knowledge of the world in his head but lack simple political logical strategy.

Same way I cannot forgive Jonathan, same way I cannot forgive Obi.

Imagine the mess the entire country is going through both home and abroad right now!

To the last minute, the PDP kept hinting that they will have a United front against the ruling party but the woman voice and that goat with red cap were secretly working for Asiwaju.

My greatest joy, we all are going to the same market and we may likely all perish with it. Since the last flood on East/West road nothing about the federal government was done.

The roads are in a very bad state, last year they have to rescue the mother of one stupid president from Bayelsa by boat and now the flood is here again, already aiming at the height of some of the bridges and some people out of their stupidity gave power to a man who cannot lift a pen.

The worst PDP is still far better than the best APC!
As a nation, everything still remaining about democracy that we are still enjoying today was put in place by PDP.
PDP is a Waste, Bro. sad

They FAILED to act as a proper Opposition against the USELESS Buhari/APC 8years Regime. embarassed undecided

The fact is that Judiciary's treatment of presidential election petitions over the years has always been about avoiding political crises rather than giving justice to petitioners. From Obasanjo, Yar'adua, Buhari and now Tinubu, the worry facing the judges has always being the likely effect of judgement on political stability of Nigeria. Of course, financial inducement or any other interferences may not be ruled out but the mindset of judges is that all politicians are the same and none is worth sacrificing the stability of the country for. Interestingly, in spite of favourable PEPT and Supreme Court rulings in 2014, late Umaru Yar'adua accepted that the election that brought him to office was not free and fair and consequently appointed Uwais committee to suggest ways of strengthening electoral process.

For example in Tinubu's case, outright cancellation wouldn't have solved any problem because:
- The acting president who would have overseen new election is Senate President Godswill Akpabio who is dependable Tinubu's ally.
- The same INEC team that organized the cancelled election would have organized the new election and even in the situation that another INEC chairman is required, Akpabio would still have power to appoint.
- The IG of police who would have overseen the security during the elections would have been a Tinubu boy with 100% loyalty
- Same for security chiefs who would have done everything possible to retain their offices as Tinubu losing means loss of job for them.
In other word, ordering a new election wouldn't actually solved problem except create political crises apart from heavy financial burden on the treasury.

This is why It is important to make uploading results from polling booths mandatory part of the INEC's transmission of results to the collation centre. Otherwise, the current "go to court" shenanigans will continue.

If the Supreme Court is not one person, then why did Obiidients claim all 5 justices of the appeal court collected bribe to return Tinubu?

At least, not one of the 5 judges gave a dissenting opinion.

So suddenly the Court is not one person but they turned one person when the judges unanimously returned Tinubu at the appeal?
5 justices ooo. The supreme court headed by Ariwoola is just got to uphold the ruling of the tribunal.

Apt

All election since 1999 was won by the rightful candidate. I don't think they has ever been a presidential election where the winner was rigged out, in fact rigging you out in major polling unit in a presidential election shows how unpopular you are and likely didn't deserve the win. But on a serious note all the declared winners are rightly so it's just the conduct of gross malpractice and wide margins against their opponents.

The court understands this, that's why it'll be hard to remove a sitting president or order a rerun despite knowing you have majority of the the vote though exaggerated. If you want to be president win by the polls(illegal too) not through court, this is a national election not a state or local setting where one court can overrule everything.
But elections must hold and be free and fair..

If not the judges must be bold enough to annual them.

They must be conducted to at least 80 percent credibility., What we have seen in this country is at most 30 percent credibility.

Insinuating that the rightful candidates have always won and so judges should look the other way is like saying that Real Madrid should play Kano Pillars and the referee should not play fair and would favour Madrid because Madrid are supposed to win and would win anyway.

The institutions in Nigeria are ones built on lies, greed, deceit and tribalism. They are all set up to extract money from the gullible citizens who worship the people in charge of such institution with questionable character. Some people, even the supposed enlightened youths won't mind, especially when they hear, "Ronu!". Then they sell their brains and conscience begin to misbehave. They think they are winning.
It's better to be a yahoo boy that to put that dirty wig and call yourself a lawyer in a lawless country. The law of Karma however is still active. One day it will hit so hard.

I have read of testimonies about Obi being a dogged fighter. based on what I hear, I do my research.

Now, I am interested in his court case that gave him victory at the Supreme court over Ngige, the then sitting governor.

Today, Obi and his supporters are complaining that the Judiciary which gave him victory in year 2006 is compromised when in 2023 the same Judiciary did not give him victory.

Why is Obi accusing the Judiciary now?
If he didn't bribe the Judiciary to get his justice or the power at the top then, under Obasanjo didn't influence Obi's victory at the Judiciary then, what is making Obi think the power that be now influenced the Tribunal judgment today?

Now, let's walk down memory lane a little.

Like Garba Shehu once described it, Obasanjo’s tenure, 1999-2007, represented the dark days of Nigeria’s democracy due to a slew of assaults on the constitution.

The then President Obasanjo allegedly used federal machinery to remove ex-governors Joshua Dariye, Rashidi Ladoja, Chris Ngige and Ayo Fayose from office. The politicians were governors of Plateau, Oyo, Anambra, Anambra and Ekiti, respectively.

Did you say Peter Obi won the Supreme court Judgment in 2006 and became the Governor? So many of you don't read. This case was very popular in Nigeria back then and I read it from various daily and weekly newspapers. The news were detailed and interesting.

How Chris Uba whose brother, Senator Andy Uba (then a Senior Personal aide to the then President, Obasanjo) became the godfather of Chris Ngige.

The relationship between Andy Uba and Obasanjo was such that he was reportedly among the first to see Obasanjo at dawn and among the last to see him before the president went to bed.

Somewhere along the line, relationship broke between the then Governor Ngige and his godfather & other sponsors (Andy Uba & President Obasanjo). His government became characterized by lot of controversies with the then FG.

Thursday, July 10, 2003 the then sitting governor of the State, Chris Ngige was kidnapped by a host of federal forces led by Police AIG Ralph Ige and, of course, Chief Chris Uba. It was only Ngige’s miraculous phone call to then Vice-President Atiku Abubakar that spawned a chain reaction that restored him to power. This treasonable act was dismissed as ‘a family affair’ by Obasanjo.

The abductors of Ngige claimed that he had resigned his office at gunpoint in a nondescript toilet! It was also revealed that the haunted governor swore to an oath of loyalty to Chris Uba at the dreaded Okija shrine. Ngige on his part stated that he played along by going to the shrine with his Bible! According to Ngige, ‘I never did resign. They forged my signature and whatever they are taunting about. If I am going to sign such a letter, I will ask my party. I have not done so.’

Nigerian family. Eniola Bello of THISDAY posed this ominous question in his column of Sunday, November 14, 2004: “Could Obasanjo have been taken to the Okija shrine before the 2003 presidential election?”

Due to Chris Uba’s unfathomable influence on Obasanjo, the Nigerian Tribune coined the unflattering acronym: President UBASANJO!

It's a very long and interesting story many of you should google to know the Politics that took place in Anambra state between 2003 and 2007 which led to the sack of the then Governor Chris Ngige from office.

At a time, Justice Egbo-Egbo gave a ruling that Ngige actually resigned. Egbo-Egbo had to quit the judiciary in disgrace. AIG Ige who led the abduction team died mysteriously.

Judge Stanley Nnaji of the Enugu High Court, claiming he had powers to oust a sitting governor from another state, gave the order ousting Ngige, whereupon Obasanjo’s federal regime promptly withdrew Governor Ngige’s security details.

Anambra Government House was denied police guard for months. People’s power kept Ngige in office as thousands of Anambra men, women and children kept vigil at the Government House.

Anambra Government House was denied police guard for months. People’s power kept Ngige in office as thousands of Anambra men, women and children kept vigil at the Government House.
Then, at about 4 a.m on November 10, 2004 some hoodlums brought into the state in 40-odd buses burnt every building of government business and the broadcasting houses while the Nigeria police stood idly by, obeying ‘orders from above’. The mayhem lasted all of three days with the law enforcement agents of Nigeria in support of the state-sponsored terrorism.

Obasanjo received a direct slap in the face when the oracular Chinua Achebe turned down his offer of the national award, CFR

Just go and do thorough research and read from various sources on how the then Governor of Anambra state was fought by godfathers headed by the then President Obasanjo and how they finally removed Ngige from office through the Judiciary.

Obi won the case in court because he had the backing of the then FG. The FG led by Obasanjo wanted Ngige out by every means possible and he fought him both tooth and nail.

That Obi won the Supreme court then with the backing of the godfathers of Anambra state Politics and the Obasanjo-led FG shouldn't give you guys hope now that he would win this case at the Supreme court.

This time around, the odds did not favor him.
The case is clear for every reasonable citizen to see, the 1999 constitution, the Electoral Act, 2022, the Evidence Act, 2011 and the court proceedings so far did not favor him.

The Judiciary has made a very fine and sound judgment which is reasonable and backed with logic.

Obi can not use unreas0nable and illogical claims to come prove any point.

Also, we are talking about the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria now, not the then governor, Chris Ngige who was facing hell from the then President.

This present case is a very different case.
The laws of our land did not favor Obi and the Federal might would not give him any breathing space.

Obi's Lawyers are out to make money and they would keep deceiving him with beautiful lies.
