US Study Or Work Visa For A Programmer? by codingdude(op): 11:49am On Sep 10, 2023
Hey guys. I'm have been learning to code for years now. Didn't take it seriously until recently (was dabbling into game dev and 3d modeling more those days. Now I'm focusing on web dev).

Im currently frustrated with my situation in this country so I wanted to ask, what will be the best option to go for as a programmer. Should I go for an undergraduate study visa or a work visa in the US or Canada?

Thanks!

there is no one that qualifies for a work visa that leaves it for study visa. If you are unable to get a job offer which is required for work visa then you go for study. Shikena

Okay. Was considering my options because I'm currently an undergraduate student.

Finish your education. Get more work experience, save then apply to jobs in the US.

Good luck with H1B lottery tho.
