This doesn't concern the hos it's a misplaced priority.
The abomination should just call for few heads to fall, simple.
The global standard practice is the local and general lingual.
This is why I hate the way our leaders operate things that have been cater for already they will always generate another ministry out of it.
Also quiet irrelevant matters they make it public as if is their priority to just cause tension.

Don't mind them, I don't know why they are pained about using the local dialect, I'm also in Cardiff even their Buses are using both English and Welsh, Igbo people have problem for real.

Language is for communication and part of culture of the people.

In the UK, announcements at train Stations are made in English and local languages of the City e.g In Cardiff, announcements are made in English & Welsh.

I'm not against using Yoruba as part of the train public announcements but the way some 'ronu advocates' are pushing this agenda of 'Yoruba first' in everything (for a supposed 'Cosmopolitan City) will at the long run harm the innocent Omoluabis who wish to live in harmony with other nationalities from the country and across the world

Languages are for communication and are parts of the cultural heritages of the People/State.

If you have problems with Yoruba people speaking Yoruba language in Yorubaland, it is better you relocate to another State.

Most Igbos don't value the language, many even scold their children for speaking the language and its very laughable.
How can one think his language is inferior? You are teaching your children/wards English while yours is fading into oblivion and you have no problem with that.
Over 70% of the Igbos can't converse in the language for 5 minutes without 'and, the, but, guy, and a whole lot of others' but a Yoruba can speak for hours without any trace of 'but, and'.
