Lagos generates around #30bn monthly from IGR.

Anambra , the wealthiest SE state can only generate about #2bn.

At best , SE states can generate at most #10bn monthly . This is an over estimate as we know they can't generate more than 6-7 billion naira in combination monthly.

Now add whatever they get from FAAC and we can safely say the region can not boast of more than #10bn monthly .

With over 50-60 million population, this is down #2,000 per month for each Ibo. That translates to roughly #70 per day for each Ibo .

Now you wonder why they have their eyes set on Lagos and crime.

Federal government should allow ships to bert in Calabar, warri, Portharcourt, warri, Onitsha and other ports so as to decongest Lagos port.

The same igr that doesn't appear on the lives of people of lagos and it environs.

After the IGR,the igbos in Lagos are economically and socially better than the Yoruba Yoruba tribe in that state.

They are the major contributors of Igr of both federal and Lagos state govt.

Check federal import tax and excise duties the facts are there.

60% of Dangote major Cement distributors in Nigeria are igbos,BUA Cement are igbos...and these guys pay heavily in taxes as well to federal govts. U can fact checks this through FIRS office.

IGR has never impacted positively in any state especially Lagos and Ogun state,if not by now,Lagos should be boasting of best roads in Nigeria including Ogun state.

Lifespan of most vehicles in Lagos compare tk Abuja is another example that u guys have one of the worst roads in Nigeria yet the Igr is being pocketed by one man and his family.

This is the crux of the matter, IGR revenue the state create, it shows productivity of a state, not just to sit down dey lazily collect allocations. True federalism will clearly show who is productive and who is lazy, president Tinubu should push for true federalism, state resource control, and FG gets good tax and royalty from special resources like oil, gold etc...

By the time companies release 3rd quarter results all hell will be let loose, only banks are making profits from naira devaluation. Most companies are indebted without hopes of paying back.
