were! It's evident you are disillusioned. On the contrary, it was igbos that put us in a war situation for those periods between 67-70. Nzeogwu and Ojukwu (may their manhoods live on). Se ba puo
And the tribes that have been running Nigeria since 1970 to now put us where?

Saying Azikiwe ran the country is like saying Osinbajo ran the country during Buhari tenure.

gidgiddy you need to sleep, wake, and then go back to edit your post.

Lol..

This was one of the things they introduced when they were at the government:

Chief of Army Staff was from SE
Chief of Naval Staff was from SE
IG of Police was from SE
Chief of Defence staff was fron SE
Internal Affairs Minister SE
External Affairs Minister SE
Education Minister South SE
Many other key ministries to SE
Parliament President SE
Unilag VC from SE
University of Ibadan VC from SE

That time for Ui, if 100 students got admission, 85 would be Igbos and the rest numbers would be shared between Nigerians..

They destroyed our regionalism..

They little power they had while in government also gave them the liberty to plan the first coup.

Many more calamities like that..

Make una dey see say this Op is not normal o..

The guy does not know anything. Maybe he meant during Tafawa Balewa ! Aguoyi Ironsi spent less than 7months when he was killed.
So what OP saying.
Revising history on Decree 14 won't help OP as it's very clear in History the A. Ironsi introduced Unitary System of Government into Nigeria
You mean decree 34 that was a civil service matter, compared to Gowons decree 14 that abolished all 4 Regions and created 12 states?

Igbos ruled Nigeria for just 6 months after the coup before the northerners killed ironsi.. Ironsi didn't achieve anything, infact he plunk the the country into chaos that we are still feeling the effect till today.

If your ancestors had not truncated the first republic, maybe we would have been better for it now.

We all saw how the SE is being governed currently and we can easily use that to infer how Ibos will govern Nigeria.

There has never been good times in Nigeria. From the second the British flag was lowered on October 1st 1960, and the Nigerian flag hoisted up, Nigeria has declined. Today, Nigeria is a monumental disaster of a country, and its only future is eventual disintegration. Things have gone from bad to worse to worst to worstest, if there is such a word

However, Nigeria's best times was when Igbos were in charge. Zik became President of a country with 3 Regions, a 4th Region created in 1963, all 4 Regions controlling their resources, contributing to the centre, progressing at their own pace and engaged in healthy competition

Like almost every country in Africa at the time, Nigeria experienced military coup that resulted in the Army boss, General Ironsi, assuming power. Democracy was lost, however, Ironsi kept the 4 Regions he met and allowed them resource control. Some propagandists say he destroyed federalism with decree 34 but these are people who never read the decree to realise it was just a civil service matter

Ironsi died in another coup 6 months later and Gowon took over. Gowon enacts Decree 14 that abolished all 4 Regions Nigeria had, created 12 new states, and followed this up with Decree 15 that abolished resource control, thus taking Nigeria into full blown unitary rule. All this was a calculated move to make the North masters of Nigeria. In retaliation, Ojukwu declared the Eastern Region Biafra, and a civil war followed

After the civil war, Nigeria had a period of huge oil sales that were wasted on white elephant projects and corruption

Murtala Mohammed ended Gowons 9 year rule and increased Nigerias unitary rule by increasing the number of States in Nigeria to 19. Five more coups would follow with each military ruler embarking on state creation, started by Gowon, until we got to 36.

Today, Nigeria is world poverty capital, 8th most insecure country on earth, and one of the most corrupt.

Nigeria has never known good times, but its best times were Zik and Ironsi times.
The Ceremonial President?

This one get mental problem

But you guus have had the chance to run Nigeria but could not do better than either Zik or Ironsi, our situation is far worse now than during Zik/Ironsi time

Oh, so you know how to use Google?

Now post Gowons decree 14 that abolished our 4 Regions and replaced them with 12 unitary states

Then post Gowons decree 15 that ended resource control and true federalism

Igbo man laid the foundation? So why have those who have been running Nigeria over 50 years since 5he war ended not laid new foundation? They couldn't do better than Igbos after more than 50 years?

If they couldnt do better after such a long, they should hail Igbos for doing better than them in such a short time

Igbos only led Nigeria for only 7months and it was a disaster

And they can't run South East successfully? These obidots are delusional and frustrated, fond of creating senseless and irrelevant posts to console themselves for the election loss. Losers.
