Modular Homes? by jackaustin631(op): 7:31am On Sep 18, 2023
We're thinking about building our next house, met with a rep for a modular bungalow but I'm not too sure about that option. Though it sounds good in theory they do seem very basic and I suspect that if the buyer wants to upgrade from the base options (flooring, doors, lighting etc) that the $220,000 home suddenly becomes a $350,000 or more project. I couldn't get a straight answer from the rep, he said he'd get back to me. Has anyone here gone with a modular build and upgraded from the base? I'd like to know how the experience was.
