We all know that the number of car owners that tint their windows is so high now.

Let me kind of state some of the pros of tinted car windows.

Pros
1) It gives the occupants of the car some privacy
2) It gives your car some cool look.

Cons
In my opinion, it may affect your clarity of vision

PROS
1. Car tints offers some form of privacy to its occupants thus enhancing security,
2. Good quality tints such as ceramic tints blocks harmful sun rays (UVB rays) from getting into the car and making it a get greenhouse effect,
3. Good quality tints preserve the interior surfaces, trims components of the car from degradation, shrinkage, dryness, cracks and breakage,
4. Tints offers anesthetic appeals to the car,
5. Good quality tints offers headlight glare blockage at night while still enabling its occupants and drivers to see clearly,
6. Good quality tint film keeps broken glass shards from scattering and injuring occupants,

CONS.
1. Quality tints such as ceramic tints are expensive to purchase,
2. Some tints are scarce and are not readily available in local markets,
3. They require expertise to handle so as not to get damaged or damage the car,
4. Even as they provide privacy they can be used by unscrupulous people to hide away criminal activities, weapons or contraband,
5. Bad quality or cheap tint films can cause reduced vision in dark or in inclement weather and this can increase risks of accidents.
6. Metallic tint film may cause interference with radio frequencies and other electronic devices.

Tinted car has no cool look.

It is high because Nigerian men do not stay one place anymore. They want to carry Amaka and Labake without anyone seeing them.

They want to press phone while driving without FRSC and co seeing them.

In some of our states, no peace of mind from the Police. If you are a young man driving around Oluku junction, shine your eyes very well when some Police men stop you there. They make life helish for young people there.

Car tint doesn't affect your Vision in anyway.

The Con has to be in the fact that it can harbor criminals safely.

Major Pro for me is that the reduced Sunlight getting into the car makes it easier for me to see

For night you will have to wind down your glasses if you are going to make a turn in some certain areas.
Pro:
Gives room for privacy
