Kwara State hospitals management board has been working very hard to make this project a reality. We see a bright light at the end of the tunnel for our dear state to have its brand of pharmaceuticals.

“Our objective remains to make quality healthcare affordable to the people of Kwara State as instructed by His Excellency. With the support and encouragement of His Excellency and all other stakeholders, Hospital Management Board will make this ambitious project a reality.

This will reduce part of the capital flight Kwara State is presently experiencing in the pharmaceutical market and jobs will be created all over Nigeria since we plan to distribute nationwide so as to attract capital into our state. We want to put Kwara State in every household in Nigeria” said the Executuve Secretary, Dr. Abdulraheem Malik.

How? What's the business of government producing drugs? They should build pharmaceutical industrial packs with full infrastructures and allow the private sector to drive it. Provide incentives and market access to operators in the market.
