The US judge who ruled that CSU hand over records detailing one Bola Tinubu as a former student must have been briefed by CSU staff that the records do indeed belong to the individual whom Atiku is in court seeking an order to have his records released to him.

If CSU had not confirmed Bola Tinubu as one and the same person as the current President, then the judge will not have the powers to compel CSU to turn over the records as this will be seen as a breach of privacy of the real Bola Tinubu.

The reason the court compelled CSU to release the records of one Bola Ahmed Tinubu is because the court is satisfied with the earlier deposition by representatives of the CSU that the current President is one and the same person in their records.


No judge will force private academic records to be released without the consent of an individual not in anyway tied to an ongoing civil suit .

And that's when the whole issue would've ended for Tinubu and Atiku can use the deposition by CSU denying President Tinubu as a clear case evidence that Tinubu never attended CSU.


The case would've finished Tinubu then and there .

But the court mandating CSU to release Tinubu's records to Atiku shows that CSU had since confirmed that the Tinubu they have on their records is one and the same person as President Bola Tinubu.

Honestly , Atiku is obviously on a goose chase and will be searching for any thing out of the ordinary in Tinubu's records and not the fact that Tinubu never attended and graduated from CSU.

To buttress your point, Tinubu's certificate controversy has long been an issue of court proceedings right from time immemorial and had there been discrepancies or fake factors in it, the CSU would've acknowledged this in fear of court subpoenas.
With regards to age factor, new evidence are not allowed for Supreme court adjudications.

I believe that Tinubu, being a very stubborn person, took exception to Atiku, or anyone for that matter, prying into his private affairs hence his insistence on not releasing them to Atiku and not for fear of any wrong.

Again, i doubt if Exonmobil would've employed him based on that certificate if it had been fake because they would've checked with the school.
