At least, the issue is no longer that he did not attend and graduated from CSU. We have all agreed now that President Bola Tinubu indeed attended CSU and did not forge the certificate he submitted to INEC.

The issue about how he got the admission is not a legal matter and has no bearing on the electoral matter. It is strictly the business of CSU to deal with.

And it is clear for everyone to see that the certificate submitted to inec is a fake

He also forged the certificate he presented to INEC because he knew that if he applied for replacement, it would trigger investigation

Under the criminal act there are two elements that must be present for an action to be criminal - first is the "mens rea" or the mental element - the intention to commit a crime and the second is the "actual reus" or action itself. Now even assuming for the sake of argument that the certificate is fake, can Tinubu be held to have the mental element to deceive INEC that he attended a university which INDEED he attended? Or will the court take all things into account in reaching the decision that according to the school records and transcripts which the school says is its official record - Tinubu attended the school and as such is eminently qualified to seek office? My guess is that the court will neither act in vain or create a nonsense therefore should Atiku lodge these documents in his appeal ( which is highly irregular) the court will on the testimony of the school itself use ancillary and corroborative evidence and rule in Tinubu's favour.

Expect no changes at the Supreme Court.
I hold this based on 47 years of legal practice.

How is it fake when the school that issued it as a replacement in 1997 has acknowledged it as original and issued by the school?

Did Atiku not request for samples of the same 1997 replacement certificate, and did the school not provide the copies with the template that tally with Tinubu’s 1997 copy?
