Sanwo-olu Announces Groundbreaking Ceremony For $100 Million African Film City by Lanrelagboi(op): 9:54pm On Oct 05, 2023
FLASH: Governor of Lagos State, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu has announced that the Groundbreaking Ceremony for the $100m African Film City will be done very soon, this massive 100-Hectare facility will be situated in Epe, in the Eastern part of Lagos.

He also announced that the State Government would be doubling the capacity building support for talented young industry players to enhance their skills in modern filmmaking and grants for creative young talents to be doubled too.

Mr Governor made the announcement today at the 12th African International Film Festival (AFRIFF) Press Briefing held at the Banquet Hall, Lagos House in Marina.
