Bola Tinubu's legal Team in far away US has hurriedly obtained an affidavit from CSU. This is coming after Monday's oral deposition of the Chicago State University's registrar.

The registrar had admitted under oath that indeed a Bola Tinubu graduated from the institution, but there's no way to tell if that person is Nigeria's current president although he has reason to believe he is the same person. The registrar admitted under oath when shown a copy of CSU's certificate Bola Tinubu submitted to INEC; that the certificate the president presented did not emanate from the School, hence a forgery.

However in a sudden twist of event, the legal team of the President approached the registrar overnight, in an arrangement unknown to the public, to swear another affidavit with only the president's legal Team present.

This affidavit has been obtained by mr. Tinubu's legal team and it is now understood that the president hopes to present the affidavit as a last line of defence.
