Just the West stinking up anime again.

Yoruichi's English dub 🤮 VA, Wendi Lee got dropped from her role because she is a white woman and Yoruichi is black(?). She was then replaced with a black VA, Anairis Quinones. However, the deal fell through and Wendi Lee got her part back. Also, Quinines voices Hiyori who is not black so I don't even know what that's about.

This is coming after Chad's English VA stepped down from the role because he is white and Chad is Latino. Then we also have ProZD, an Asian English VA, saying that his agent told him he can only audition for Asian characters.

These niggas actually managed to bring back segregation. Back in the day you just cast the best person for the job. A black man voiced Samurai Jack, a black man voiced Darth Vader and nobody gave a damn.

Like just imagine if we brought all this race segregation into the casting of Hausa-dubbed Indian dramas. How would every HR department in Northern Nigeria ever recover?

In summary, "dub bad; sub good" is still mostly true.
