900 Isralies dead, bodies of 1,500 Hamas militants found in Israeli territory, IDF says
The Israeli Defence Force (IDF) has confirmed 900 Israelis have been killed since the start of the Israel-Hamas war.

Additionally, the bodies of 1,500 Hamas militants have been found on Israeli territory, a spokesperson for the IDF said.

Fierce fighting has taken place between a large number of Hamas militants and the IDF since a mass incursion on Saturday.

The IDF has released the names of 123 soldiers it says have been killed since the start of the war.

It also confirmed that one soldier, of lieutenant colonel rank, died in a firefight on the northern border with Lebanon, although it is understood that this was not a clash with Hezbollah.
