I think the ruling talked about the fact that he contested 2x and took oath of office 2x.
In the case of Jonathan he had only contested once before the 2015 election, though he had taken the oath 2x.
The emphasis is on contesting and winning gov'ship election 2x.

One thing about electoral laws is that if you did not contest it, it stays. How ever that does not make it right.
