For those of us who oblivious of the history of the conflict between Palestinian and Israel or who are just too lazy to find out the root cause of the problem, but just prefer to jump onto any side due to religious affiliation, here is an opportunity to quickly learn what really happened and perhaps do further research on your own.

So here is a brief history of the conflict between Palestinian and Israel:

After the 1st world war ended, the Ottoman empire was delegated to the British empire.

Palestine was by then one of the region under the Ottoman empire which also included now Turkey, Albania, Lebanon etc.

Due to them being persecuted during the WW1, the Jews, especially the Zionist, rallied for a country of their own, using various means included terror to push their agenda. (Note: before this time, there was no country called Israel)

The British decided to make a home for these Jews by giving them part of Palestine (Search up "Balfour Declaration of 1917" to learn more). The Arab league protested against it, but it went ahead anyway, this also lead to another conflict of its own (which is another story)

Now, by the time the Jews were given part of Palestine to inhabit and call home, the initial plan was for a 2 state system (one side Palestinians and one side Israelis), but the Jews got greedy (and are still greedy) and decided they wanted all the country for themselves, but the Palestinians resisted and are still resisting till this very day, hence why we have this recurring conflicts till today.

It's a plain case of an imported population trying to completely take over the land of the original owners.

Due to years of oppression, western media propaganda, today when the Palestinian rise to show acts of defiance, the western media are quick to call them terrorist. This has in numerous cases exposed the double standards and hypocrisy of the western world, because while in same vein, we have the Ukrainians fighting against Russia's incursion and these fighters are being seen as freedom fighters against Russia.

Many ignorant people especially of we of Christian denominations (who by the way, are most hated by the Jews - we are also ignorant of this, because the western media does a good job of covering this up).

We christians think this is a Muslim vs Israel (Jews/Christian) crisis, so once we hear anything Israel we quickly align to it, saying things like Go Israel, God of Israel etc.. But no, this is a conflicts between an oppressed people vs an apartheid state.

What was the Palestinian name in Arabic? Who was the prime minister or Palestinian president before Arafat? What was his system of government? What were its geographical limits? Which countries at the time recognized it, and when? Which library or museum can present its literature, coins or works of art?


If you can answer this question then I will know that you are not ignorant.

The Palestinians never existed before the British mandate.

Even Britain after getting defeated by America the second time went home and gave America freedom.
