No not dual citizenship but voluntary acquisition of dual citizenship while renouncing your Nigerian citizenship.i can't get tired of explaining sense into dumbidients
You think you are talking to illiterates..obi wasn't the one dragging tinubu ...the last time I checked it was atiku that took him to court ...as usual you start chasing shadows.

Why was Enugu gov not removed by the tribunal despite bringing NYSC?
1) DSS countered nysc thereby creating reasonable or probable doubt
2) nysc said he actually served and two files were opened for him.
3) nysc is not even a constitutional requirement for the forged document the constitution is contemplating doesn't include nysc.
4) without nysc, the governor is still qualified

I agree but most of the people attacking tinubu are obi fans not atiku people.but moreover Fergie explained everything to you in a well detailed manner

Can you actually fault this anslysis
Of course that IPOBidient can fault it well well, the logical reasoning and well structured arguments, put forward by the eminent SAN, contained in the post doesn't favour Peter Obi.

Don't say that ...I won't agree with you . The fact is that anyone not supporting tinubu is deemed to be obi fans...Recall atiku got more votes than obi and there combined votes us more than 14m while tinubu got 8m ...you expect that atiku only got support from.obidient ...Are you implying that atiku fans are not supporting him? Only hatred will.make anyone think like this .

Most atiku voters are quiet people or aren't loud on social media.atiku himself said most of his supporters are northern illiterates with no access to the social media.obi people dominate the media.
Apart from that,I am a prominent figure in nairaland.i am conversant with most monikers here.i know those who are tinubu, atiku and obi fans here or FB.we can do a headcount if you want.oga, the facts are unarguable, most of those supporting this case are obi fans.i can count all atiku fans here

It is not what qualifies him but what disqualifies him. Anyone that presents a forged certificate to INEC stands disqualified.

This has nothing to do with DSS because they're not the issuing authority.

Why do you think the country has been going down from beginning? Because we bend the constitution to suit us irrespective of what is true and right.

No don't. These are technicalities even though they are cogent. But what we want is substantial justice.

Yes.... Dattijo is retiring this month.

Ariwoola & Kekere-Ekun recused themselves for obvious reasons.

Garba is on the panel too.

For you to get substantial justice, you must follow a laid down procedure substantially.you cannot break a law and expect the law to help you.technicalities are legal

DSS is not an issuing authority but they are constitutionally empowered to investigate criminal acts and forgery is a criminal act therefore the court cannot discountenance their findings.
The supreme court has stated in agi vs ayade 2015 and APM vs abiodun 2019 that mere forgery of document is not disqualification but the forged document must be part of the one mentioned by the constitution or without that forged document, the candidate ceases to be qualified.in order words, the forgery must have given him undue advantage

Obvious because Ariwoola was attacked last year that he was biased. Kekere-Ekun started from the Lagos High Court and was recommended to go higher by the former Lagos Gov.

Someone a bit different is cool, however, Kekere-Ekun could still lead it because Ariwoola doesn't want to be on the panel. Uwani Abba-Aji & Agim are rumoured to be on the panel.

The constitution said anyone that presents a forged certificate. Here, the drafters of the constitution are not only looking at profiting from forgery but also looking at acts of dishonesty. A dishonest person should not be allowed to manage public wealth and thats who a forger is.

And the supreme court have severally stated that that forgery must be related to constitutional qualifications stated in section 177-182

Remember that the Supreme Court made Lawan and Akpabio senatorial candidates in elections they never contested.

Atiku is not smart.

I'm baffled by how he keeps getting deceived by his advisers. His lawyer, Kalu Kalu, said they have met the conditions for the admittance of fresh evidence but failed to tell us how on earth they met those conditions. In fact, his body language gave him away when saying that during their press conference.

In all honesty, you will get tired explaining things to people who have been blinded by hate and their biases.

They will never be objective in their reasoning and judgment.

Fashola aka fergie1, you not get shame but God/Mother Nature go shame you.
Watch !

fergie001:
This doesn't need any legal postulation.... The Supreme Court will return Tinubu and lambast the appellants for going on a circus show.

David Lyon's case is different. His case was pre-election and was well-marshalled from the "get-go".

A. The case of inconsistencies of names has been overtaken by recent Supreme Court Judgements. David Lyon's is no more obtainable today.

B. That was also the Electoral Act 2010, this is Electoral Act 2022. There is a slight distinction between a false affidavit and forgery. Even that of David Lyon wasn't forgery but false representation of his affidavit on his INEC forms.

These issues were not canvassed at the lower Courts. The onus is on the petitioner to prove beyond any reasonable doubts. You cannot ambush the other Party by bringing up fresh issues on Appeal at the Supreme Court.

Just maybe if these issues had some "teeth" at the pre-hearing stages, there might have been some success.

Again, whatever he has entered there has been over-taken by virtue of the fact that they are pre-election and fall under Section 29(5) of the Electoral Act.

Again, honorary citizenship grants neither rights nor privileges but is just a symbolic gesture.
