Background
A UN resolution in 1947 had decided to partition Palestine into into 2 states, a Jewish and Arab state. Prior to this, Jews and Arabs lived under a single Palestinian territory which was under British rule.

The Jews wanted an independent Jewish state, so did the Arabs. However, the Arabs rejected the UN resolution that favored the creation of a Jewish state, so when the Jews declared the state of Israel, Palestinian Arabs and independent Arab states went to war against Israel.

Israel defeated these Arab insurgents and expelled many Palestinians, and the conflict has continued since. Israel has been under attack from Arab insurgents, but they always respond to force with force

Palestinians rejected a two state solution and attacked Israel who countered them along other Arab nations who fought with Palestinians.

Erdoga and Putin who are calling for a two state solution seemed to have conveniently forgotten that Palestinians have rejected it in the past and continue till date. All they want is Israel's annihilation.

Most Arab countries including UAE and Saudi Arabia are tired of the troublesome Palestinians.
