Jbleenk:He's one of those popular idiots headless mobs on nairaland, he doesn't contribute to any topic raised, all he's after is to throw tantrum to the president. He mentions Tinubu everywhere, on topic not even related to governance and even in his dream. I guess Tinubu is tormenting his life anyway. Op, I hope the idea work and favor the masses. Monopoly is bad, it is only when we break the york of monopoly in the country is when we will enjoy as a nation. Mtn sim was over 40k until glow came. Bua is breaking dangote monopoly already If marketers importing directly will break monopoly by NNPCL for the poor to breath, so be it. |

emmanuelbrown26:My brother Nigeria case is not like that ... 😊 What u plan will always be different to what u will see when u get there 😊 |

Programmer47:I commend you for that that truly.he removed it and didn't prepare for the challenge ahead.. But my idea was that if buhari can do the same then the economy wouldn't have been landside till date.. I.e when he closed the border for local production to work and since it s not working then he should have opened it too so food won't be skyrocketing till date🤔 I guess that's what Tinubu realized by trying to bring the subsidy back again .... Don't type in form of abuse please we are only trying to fix our country 😃 |

So After Exporting 1.7 million barrels of crude oil at about $89.9 per barrel. We in Nigeria are still suffering so much in the hands of APC.. GOD PUNISH ALL THOSE WHO ARE DIRECTLY INFLICTING HARDSHIP ON NAIJA PEOPLE |

Tayorshd87:That is Apc's Stock in trade. The same Tinubu said he'll continue from where Buhari stopped and these same supporters cheered on. When Buhari banned all those commodities and closed the same borders, these same Apc supporters cheered it on and insulted anyone with a contrary opinion. What am I trying to say? Apc followers will justify anything , even murder, as far as their paymasters agree with it. Mr Tinubu is not just ignorant but also clueless. This policy would not only cause our naira to fall (as PMS importers would simply round trip with the black market). If he was going to reintroduce subsidy why announce it on your inauguration. That just reeks of someone without a definite plan. His cabinet is bloated with SA's who will still hire more PA's, and Nigerians are told to manage while he keeps making mistakes. As usual, the same Apc headless supporters would still support it an complain later on. Rinse and repeat |

Programmer47:You have said it all .. But lastly I want to ask. Do you noticed any campaign and manifestato they do have before been elected are always in opposite side when they get to office 🤔 what am trying to say is that from outside u will have plans but when u get there when you see accumulated problems then u won't know where and how to tackle the challenges again 😢 My God help us with Nigerian leaders |

Taylor94:You come on here to rant uncontrollably without recourse to what message you pass with it. The NNPC have been the sole importer of PMS for too long and a window is provided to break the monopoly and make the sector become more competitive and deregulated. Meaning that market forces will now determine prices, similar to what happened in the early 2000 with the telecoms sector, where prices of SIM cards crashed astronomically due to the extreme competitions among the firms in the sector. As usual, you only talk but add no value to discussions. |

Tayorshd87:We all knew what to expect with Tinubu but tribalism , party sentimality and religious divide did not allow us. God has nothing to do with it. I see Old men lying and throwing their integrity in the mud just to protect Tinubu's Facade. At this point , we all deserve whatever we get. The new trick of Apc is to now gaslight the citizens themselves , telling them to be more productive and not complain. |

Peppysco:Was this not the status quo under Buhari? Omo, the level of ignorance or selective blindness an Apc member has to go through is truly mind boggling. Is this not the subsidy all over again? Then why did the clown rush to remove subsidy when he did not have a plan in motion? Omo, if Tinubu is allowed to seat in Aso rock with all his ignorance and fraud precedents , 4 years will be too long for what's coming. Naira is already at $1000 and this is just the start judging by the reckless decisions the clown keeps on making |
| Re: Oil Marketers To Resume Fuel Importation by Programmer47: 10:38am On Oct 14, 2023 |
Peppysco:Rather , it is you that should go back and learn economics. What do you think subsidy is? You keep writing nonsense with confidence. Government is giving FX to importers at a subsidised rate to sell fuel cheaper. What do you think subsidy is before? An Apc member is ready to tell you that Satan is God as long as the party says so. Very despicable set of human beings |

| Re: Oil Marketers To Resume Fuel Importation by Peppysco: 11:16am On Oct 14, 2023 |
Programmer47:Easy tiger, don't let your emotions take the best of you. I guess you never knew that there's a CBN's Imports and Exports forex benchmark. These earmarked sectors access forex at the official exchange rate. The reason for the multiple exchange rates in the parallel market is due to the unpatriotic and sharp practices of certain government officials, CBN employees and the BDC's as that market is not regulated by the government. Back to the initial comment, allowing fuel importers access to forex at the CBN's official rate is not subsidy, rather, a policy to make forex accessible to importers at CBN's rate. Where's the subsidy in that? |

77up:Exactly what I was saying about telcos. Mere SIM that was given out to subscribers for free at a point once cost as much as 40k when we have only MTN. The children of hate wish to see the president fail in all he does but that won’t happen I hope they will live to witness the policies outcome and when things start taking shape but never reap from it. |

Peppysco:Lol. You don't have any meaningful thing to say hence the quote. No be only victim mentality. What do you understand by subsidy? I don't even know whether to call you ignorant or blind but it seems you're one of these Apc bots who wander the Internet looking for where to spew misinformation. Na mumu dey follow una argue. As you where |
| Re: Oil Marketers To Resume Fuel Importation by Programmer47: 1:52pm On Oct 14, 2023 |
michlins:Gbam! Very simple solution but pseudo economists will rather twist and turn than speaking the truth. Instead of palliatives and all these other rubbish: Fix the refineries. That alone will cut the need for FX and improve our export commodities. But a thief that is only there to steal cannot think in such a way because it does not benefit him |

Peppysco:Do you see how stupid you sound now? A lot of you APC folks are mentally retarded and you don't know it. I told this mindless bot that subsidy was back and he started ranting left and right to justify his drug lord. The amount of nonsense these mindless Bots spill on a daily na why nobody they take them serious. Clowns |
