I like his push for CNG revolution, removing the forex access for imports of those 43 items on the list. I think these are good steps from a layman perspective.

But spending an alleged #422,000,000 In just 7 days in NY for UNGA shows insincerity in his much touted cutting cost of governance.

Instead of Atiku, let MC Oluomo rule Nigeria.

Southern President or nothing

You wish, I commend the steps taken to diversify cars frm fossil fuel to CNG, also removing the forex access ban for a list of 43 items is good way to go.

1. I like his push for CNG revolution, 2. removing the forex access for imports of those 43 items on the list. I think these are good steps from a layman perspective.

1. What concrete steps have been taken regarding CNG? Is it even viable? There's a reason no nation has adopted it at scale.

2. How does removing restrictions from accessing forex help the naira? It means we can import more but at a time when our reserves are within $2-3b? What will the effect be on local producers?

3. Have not seen the news directly but I dont think that amount is 'other-worldy' given that the spending was done in $ while your calculation is in N - coupled with the naira's continous spiral, the amount is bound to appear staggering.

You dey mind them.
Just like the "I'm so so and so tribe but I support so so and so not because he is my tribesman but because he is the best" during election.
They are neither here nor there. And in this new Nigeria we all aspire for....there no space for sitting on the fence.... everyone must take a stand and defend their belief

Before you nail him, go and ask how much Buhari spent. Do you know the cost of parking an aircraft in an international airport for one night abroad? As if he used the money to eat?
Won't his entourage be paid their allowances? Logistics, accomodations, security, etc.

How much were they supposed to spend? Stop allowing social media influencers toy with your head. He's the president, did you expect him to lodge in face me I face you? He has entourage, security details, doctors, aides cooks etc attending to him who all need accommodations too. Whether you like it or not he's not going to lodge in face me I face you. Even as an ordinary citizen he won't, talk less of now that he's president.
Check out how much other presidents spend on travel and security.
Besides, you want to woo investors and at the same time want to appear like a pauper? You clearly don't know how to the business world works. Investors must see that you are not suffering, they must see that you are not a beggar if they will invest with you. Your president cannot be stranded outside a local hotel and you tell businessmen to bring their hard earned money to your country. You must look respectable
