Hmm, we are watching before our korokoro eyes the naira and country being destroyed. People that depite the billions Lagos generated during their tenure, still left it in debt. Same Lagos Ambode ruled for 4 years and did not take a loan.
Does being an accountant in mobil make you an experienced financial expert, no. Accountants are only book keepers. The know nothing about business unless they have the experience.
Just imagine imf dictating economic policy to us for goodness sake. Same imf that messed up the naira during babangidas time. Obj rejected them, all other president's did too even buhari. Now they are 5&6 with the current regime. Anyway with the kompromat westerners have on him, what do you expect?
Few days ago they said oil production has reached 1.7m barrels daily from the 700m barrels during buhari's time, there is also increase in oil prices, depite that, naira is still losing value! No be juju be that?
One day we will have sense that tribal issues should not come between us and the proper management of our country.

You cannot give a whole country to a bunch of people with criminal background to run and expect good. You hand over the bank to Al Pacino for safe keeping. Lol

All these are fire brigade short-cut measures to treat symptoms of a collapsing economy.

We must go back to the basics - fight corruption & insecurity, provide stable power and other stimulants to boost local production, industry & agriculture.

My brother sometimes it looks like Nigeria problem needs rocket science but it does not. I don't know what is wrong with these people

How can corrupt leaders fight corruption? What you are saying practically begins with us. Nigerians are not yet ready for change. We vote in corrupt leaders into key offices because they are either our tribe, religion, or geopolitical zones. When they come in and do their thing, we keep on complaining as if we never knew they were corrupt devils in the first place.

No sir. It’s not by word of mouth. During his campaign,Peter Obi laid an economic road map with proven facts and figures garnered from other developing economies in Africa, Southeast Asia, Far East and other countries to show that it can be achieved.
Like him or hate him, these are facts.
And they mocked him by saying "na statistics we go chop"?

The only governor till date who governed a state without borrowing a single penny, the first governor who brought in Fortune 500 companies to anambra, the second largest brewery in the world including one of the biggest pharmaceutical companies in the world among others, Innoson cars came to existence, onitsha regained its place as the biggest market in west africa. You can sit and google Peter Obi, without sentiments, or place of hate. Just 10 mins. You would know a man who chaired 3 banks, SEC, built successful businesses, and companies in the Europe, and Africa, to a man who only did accountancy for only 2 years with mobil as a graduate entry. His only experience was 2 years, lagos most talk about revenue was TAX he widened base on lagos was already a commercial hub.
Is Hero Beer a Fortune 500 company 🙄, stop using words anyhow. Tell us one of those company that still exist to date. At least PBAT brought ECONET(Airtel) and SIEMENS that exists till date. Fixing the damage economy by PMB & GEJ is not a matter of 6 months. If PBAT did not bow to pressure and was able to fix one or two refineries then get the Dangote refinery working the economy will revive beyond average. And with the FX ban suspension on commodities expect price of food to drop by 30-40%

Those shrewd moneybags who like to hoard dollars for higher gain will still end up buying it off the market. Only strong monitoring can save it, by ensuring it throughly get into the hands of those that needs it for manufacturing purposes; this'll lead to general economic growth for everyone's benefit, not for an individuals enrichment.
