You can't understand what the Psalmist said if you're not humble because only Jehovah's Witnesses can TEACH you what is written in our book (Bible) Matthew 28:20
For your information Jerusalem is the same as mountain Zion in the Bible which means it is also a mountain on its own surrounded by other mountains.
Literally it means Jerusalem is situated on high ground but spiritually speaking Jerusalem or mount Zion connotes the center of pure worship surrounded by false religions.
Today the one and only true religion is Jehovah's Witnesses organization surrounded by countless religions all claiming worshipers of the Almighty God and the prophecy about Jerusalem is being fulfilled today only among Jehovah's Witnesses:
People from different geographical locations on this planet will be converted as members of this religion, they will start using the word of the God of Abraham to teach themselves, then afterwards they will settle all their disparities peacefully among themselves, divert their resources into production of food and information materials, erased the making buying selling and usage of weapons in the hearts of all their converts and vow never to raise weapons against anyone again! Isaiah 2:2-4; Micah 4:1-3

In fact Micah concluded that all the people on this planet each will walk in the name of the God of their choice but worshipers of the God of mount Zion will walk in the name of One God {Micah 4:5} and they will have love among themselves {John 13:34-35} as if they're one global family! Jer.44.16 - As for the word that thou hast spoken unto us in the name of the LORD, we will not hearken unto thee.
Jer.44.17 - But we will certainly do whatsoever thing goeth forth out of our own mouth, ......

Continue to live in abysmal delusion.

Interesting question. So got me wondering exactly what the difference between a hill and a mountain is.
A hill is a piece of land that rises higher than everything surrounding it. It looks like a little bump in the Earth. Since they are higher than everything around them, hills are good places to get a nice view.
Hills are easier to climb than mountains. They are less steep and not as high. But, like a mountain, a hill will usually have an obvious summit, which is its highest point.
According to the U.S. Geological Survey, there is no official difference between hills and mountains. The United Kingdom and the United States used to define hills as summits less than 1,000 feet. However, both countries abandoned the distinction in the mid-twentieth century. Hill or Mountain
And given that the Jerusalem of today is not Jerusalem as it was almost 3000 years ago when David must have written this psalms, I don't even think it makes sense to compare today to the town that it used to be. undecided

As for Jerusalem as we know it today.
Jerusalem is an ancient city in Western Asia, on a plateau in the Judaean Mountains between the Mediterranean and the Dead Sea. It is one of the oldest cities in the world, and is considered holy to the three major Abrahamic religions—Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. Jerusalem almost 3000 years later

All the hills and/or mountains must have crumbled when the trumpet sounds in Jericho reached Jerusalem. grin
