BUA Group, few days ago announced a reduction in the price of cement from N5,000 per bag to N3,500.

Has anyone bought the cement at the new price?

#3,500 is for distributors and not consumers.
The actual reduction was about #200 to #500

Thanks for the brief explanation,even though alot of people wil not stil get it, because of the hatred for the country all because of ONE MAN..
many people always run with headlines, without reading the detail, including the 0P that is expecting the retailer to be selling at the same 3500 they bought it..
Anyways, i bought 7 Bag @ 3800 for each bag at ijoko, sango ogun state, while some stil sell at old price because, they stil av the old stock..

I bought half bag for 3100 in delta state Okpanam,

Expecting a price reduction of any commodity in this Tinubu administration is a mirage..

Our journalist are so lazy, so none of them can do a market survey across the nation on the recent price of different brands of Cement

Ofcos you know that the cement dealers will tell you they are selling old stock.

They won't say the same though if the price of cement bad increased.

The main issues with BUA right now is the availability of the product. I have called all the cement dealers I kn if they have the product so that i can take advantage of the little reduction in price but none seems to have the product available.

Had it been that the price increases, those with the old price will quickly volume the price to accommodate the new price. But let the price come down, you'll hear, we still have the Old stock price
