Going by the official results released by the National Elections Commission of the Republic of Liberia on their online results portal:

1. The Presidential Election had a voters turnout of 78.83% so far - as at 99.97% completion of the collation and tallying process.

2. The Senatorial Elections had a voters turnout of 78.5% so far - as at 99.97% completion of the collation and tallying process.

3. The House of Representatives Elections had a voters turnout of 78.1% so far - as at 99.97% completion of the collation and tallying process.

Nigeria is just managing with 29% voters turnout..


Next thing now,, some people will just come out to say that the Nigeria’s 29% is far far bigger than the Liberia’s “meagre” 78%..

Even though Imo and Kogi might want to do protest-voting in order to save themselves from the shackles of Hope and Bello,, their turnout may still be tooo too poor after-all.

Nigerians have lost faith in elections. We believe our votes don't count so what's the need of wasting time standing under the sun to vote? Until we change that mindset, there will always be repeated cases of low turn out

We did not hear of ballot box snatching ooo.....we did not hear of names calling during campaign but issue based and voting was done while citizens goes about there normal business, unlike one country that pride itself as "The Giant of Africa "

Weah was just dating Ghana beautiful actresses up and down acheiving nothing in governace.
His predecessor Salif Johnson was totally controlled by IMF and World Bank and completely impoverished her country.


Africa would have been a better place if there is no oversea.

In the last election in Nigeria the turnout was more than 60%. But this wasn't reflected because the results were prepared before the election day.
Rigging when too many numbers are involved is difficult that is the idea of culling the number down.
It surprising how Nigerians believed that an election which had the three major regions in Nigeria in an era of heightened political and social media awareness just had barely 20million voters!
